This is incidentally a "learner's" bike, ACTUALLY, ALL MOTORCYCLES should be designed this well. Why are we pigeonholing such a great motorcycle as a "beginner"? Why is the R7 so much more difficult to ride? Does it HAVE to be?

Good interview and bike summary, but having only 3 years experience is it not better to get an experienced rider to try and talk about the bike. Yes this bike is a good one for newbies, but it's also for anyone, I've got 47 years experience and have has all sorts of bikes from an AP 50 to a fireplace, I now have a speed 400 as one of my bikes and its brilliant and good enough for anyone ,just please stop going on about it being a beginners bike

When we get a bit older and wiser we come to realise small bikes are amazing fun. Ive just sold a ninja 1000 and im definitely getting a small bike next. This is on my list of possibilities. Its not just a bike for newbies.
