In this episode I have been trying to sort my clutch issues. I was going to take the gearbox box, but I don't think that is needed. But I don't sort it #triumph #stag #clutch
I think the screeching noise could be the thrust bearing too. I'd start changing or renewing seals in the slave first, as that one is the one that would be exposed to more heat over time. Feel your pain Henry, good luck.
yep, i think i would replace master and slave cylinder too or at least refurb yours, the fluid is probably pushing past the internal seals hence why you have no external leak and pumping the pedal brings the pressure back initially. Also looking forward to more TR7 shenanigans.
@@HenrysGarage I had that issue on one of my TR7's back in the day. But the symptom was as if something was stuck under the pedal & it only travelled half way! Happy to hear you have found the root cause....probably :)
Sorry Andy, but I have cars I used daily and I need them working well so they need to take priority right now. I had let them both become a little unreliable
