Sorry for the poor quality video. I have a tough time opening the glovebox on both my Stags. I'm aware there is meant to be a bit of sponge on the switch to help, but this didn't work for me. Folks mentioned some solutions and the route I took was to use a finger pull for a TR4/TR6. I did buy a few pulls, but found some limitations with it so I made some slight modifications.
The nice thing with this mod, is I didn't need to cut the wood. I did however have to trim the wood on my second Stag.
2024 - Update. I replaced the lock on one of my Stags with a second hand lock. It works without the pull. The only issue is the key does not match. So it seem s the locks get tired with age.
