wenn man bedenkt wie Alt das Teil ist, wie der aussieht, die großen Räder (wo damals alle noch so klein waren) und auch bis zum Rand am Radkasten... also stilistisch so seine Zeit weit voraus. Wirklich Wahnsinn. Und der Sound verblüfft. Man so ein Auto zu besitzen damals. Ein Traum.
I owned a TR5 back in the '70's. I did what this chap seems to have done, and put a modified exhaust system in it. As with this one, it sounded very impressive at first. But in the end the harshness of the note became rather anoying, and I switched back to the original. The factory got it right.
Ya wacky Brits you screwed up. This is a TR450 not a 250. Last I checked 250 or 2.5 came inbetween 2 and 3 not 4 and 5. You screwed up your tradition of going numerical or alphabetical here. Just Joshing you.
I believe this is a TR5 the TR4 had a 4 cylinder engine and was aesthetically gorgeous, the TR4a was the same car with independent rear suspension. The TR5 was the same car with the 6 cylinder 2.5 litre engine and a slightly different body shape. The TR5 did not have dual exhausts as in this car. The TR6 was a monocoque chassis, with same B series engine. in the UK the TR5 & the TR6 had the 2.5 engine with the the PI added (petrol injection) now known as fuel injection. The PI versions were fast for their day!
