Hello, I just got on the line. I have major gas leaks from the engine behind the radiator. I have done 70 kilometers since then and the noise is still as aberrant. Do you have any idea where this could come from? Thanks
Bon courage.
sounds good but the stock exhaust looks cooler. The stock exhaust is shorter and pointed out to the side, which gives it that shelby cobra look, the aftermarket exhausts all look generic and seem to completely miss the absolutely great look of the stock exhaust. If this was made to look like stock i'd buy, but because it looks like every other exhaust out there, have to pass.
I really recommend the CS racing exhaust if you haven't seen it already. It looks just like the OEM and fits very well with the bike imo. Also very impressive numbers I was able to gain about 3 horsepower from the exhaust, I have yet to tune the bike but that is next on the list
I definitely plan to! Finally got some time today to work on getting the screw out that holds the db killer in. They put a couple tac welds on the screw so I had to carefully grind those off to get the whole thing out without destroying anything. Got that done and it does sound pretty wild! Hopefully I'll have some time this weekend to get some audio clips with and without the db killer, maybe some drive by audio as well.
this sounds better in my opinion but the original looks far better. Notice the original is shorter and comes out the side like a shelby cobra, while this is straight and generic like every other bike. Why people keep doing this to their trident i will never understand !
Nice video. Is this something that an average Joe could do at home in the garage ? I have a Spark exhaust on the way but I am not sure if I will be able to fit it myself or I will have to take it to the dealer. Is this EC approved (street legal for European market) ?
@@FGGiskard I would love to tell you, but I bought my Spark online,... and it never arrived, and I never got my money back (ouch). So I am still hosting the stock exhaust (bugger). But from what I see online it sounds pretty sweet.
What did you do about the O2 sensor? I just installed this today (your video saved me 😂) it looks like you managed to get the sensor into the LV unit? How the hell?
haha glad the video helped! Yes I was able to use the stock O2 sensor on the LV system. I remember having the same thought of how is this ever going to fit on here. The wire for the O2 sensor routes around the back side of the oil pan if I remember correctly. I'll have to take a look at it again this evening and let you know for sure.
Can confirm that I was able to locate the plug for the O2 sensor and re-route it. the lead comes down the left side of the bike then around the back side of the oil pan. I was able to zip tie the cable up out of the way and everything fits very nicely. Hope that helps! Good Luck!
