This is part 2, the bike battery charged fine however I will keep an eye on it over the next few weeks. So far the bike needs new fork seals and oil, new front brake switch, a front tyre and some small bits of bodywork done before getting an mot. So far the bike owes me £650 plus £60 delivery, the front tyre will be £100 ordered and fitted, the seals should be £100 ordered and fitted, the mot £30. That's £940 altogether roughly and it should be a great bike for someone. Sale price will be £1200 to £1500.

Lovely bike. I've got it's baby brother, the Triumph Speed Four. Interesting to find out a bit more about my bike in its other form!

The tt600 was designed to beat the Japanese bikes of the day so it came as standard with lightweight wheels although it was still over all slightly heavier then the compatition. It was a great bike though and I would choose one over a cat, zx6r and other similar bikes. It just feels better made and kinda had more class.

Go through 3 heat up and cool down routine and the engine light should go out.

It did go out in the end, it just needed a decent battery but that's good to know for next time. I'd like another one at some point. I really liked how light it felt. Thanks for watching.

Hi mate , I've just picked up my tt600 yesterday all is well with it. Some obvious age related marks but that's no stress. I'm going to shortly start working my way through the bike. But I just wanted your opinion on how you would go about repairing the paint on the swing arm flaking off As you've probably come across it before Thanks again loving the vids

Hi Dan, that's common yes. You have 2 options roughly but the first thing to do Is fully clean the area and see what your working with. Option 1 is to remove the swing arm and everything attached but only do this If you don't mind extra work and more spend on the bike. Normally the bearings need replacing and things like that and it becomes a right pain. The second option is a paint while on the bike. Cover everything else up and either spray paint or brush paint. I find hammerite the best stuff for this and it has great protection properties. Let me know your thoughts.

Serious question, will not remapping the fuel system cause problems down the road? I just got my tt600 and everything on it seems perfect save for the flat spot around 4k rpm. If its not hurting the bike I can deal with it.

Hi Ben, it shouldn't have a flat spot really so you have to wonder why its there to start with. Re mapping systems can be very good for vehicles as you can control the air to fuel mix more, so re mapping is great if you want to however you would have to have a very high flow air filter and exhaust to ever consider re mapping it. No point otherwise really. Does that make sense? What upgrades do you already have?
