I remember this in real time. Felt like he just wanted to blast beat or play every Trivium song way faster. I miss Travis as an og fan but they nailed it with Alex.

@@Wroclaw2013 I should have been more clear I guess, this is Nick on drums I know this, as a someone who has listened since 2005 and plays the drums and can tell the difference between all of Trivium's drummers. When Nick joined I felt he was happier blasting his way through some of Trivium's songs and playing them faster, I'm not sure if that was solely Nick's choice or band direction or both, I didn't enjoy his time in the band especially in the beginning. I miss Travis, but I'm happy they have Alex he's amazing.

Clearly Alex is THE trivium drummer these days, and he can't be replaced. But man, Nick is really an underrated drummer and clearly ripped when he first joined trivium.

Nick has the capability to be on Alex's level. Unfortunately, he just isn't disciplined in keeping tempo and when to appropriately improvise

Jesus Christ. Matt's vocals are insane here. No wonder he had to change vocal technique. This sounds amazing but clearly wasn't good for his health in the long run

From all the Drummers on Trivium, i actually only enjoyed Nick and Alex, and while Alex is clearly a better player, i will always enjoy Nick way more. Even tho that in this version, he was cleary pushing it.

still not the best song on the album and quite overrated in my opinion. the fact they made a video for it is what made it so big. no hate but like light to the flies and the deceived are miles better.
