Because she was dealing with demons most likely like Katya was, being on TV like that with producers breathing down your neck and queens coming for you and the whole edge of competition gets you in your head and prevents you from shining, poor Katya towards the end of S7 was in a dark dark place but she said in AS2 she'd never let herself be ruled by fear anymore, and Trixie will never let anyone tell her she's not funny, she IS

I cant stop laughing...I thought the interviewer was a great unintentional "straight" man. Trixie & Katya are the modern day drag Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin. They will become a comedy duo that will appeal to all progressive people, young and old. I'm a 62 yr. old gay father of two that loves their jagged style of witty quips and physical exclamations. I cannot wait for them to appear again in SF. My adult straight son cannot wait to take me to see them live.

+msubasii RIGHT?! It might've been nerves, might've been editing, but it's amazing how she went from "OMG SHE WAS SO GREAT HOW DID PEARL SEND HER HOME?!" to "Huh . . . yeah, send her home I guess." I think the biggest culprit was the nature of the challenges, though; it's really hard to make the material they had to act out funny, and there just wasn't much room for any of the queens to exercise their creativity -- aesthetic or otherwise. Which was a huge shame, because I think every queen this season had more talent than they were able to show off, except maybe Pearl . . . get it together, Ru.
