Hello, I've been researching this product but I don't fully understand it. Is it possible to give only one food per button press? Can we separate this or does he give multiple foods? thanks.🙏🏻
You would have to adjust the port to fit the size of just one treat. The larger you make the opening the more treats that will fall out. So if you make it smaller then the dog will get less treats.
Hey, she has picked up a bad habit. She’s plucking her feathers ☹️ I feel so bad, I can’t find a solution. She was on a healthy diet of zupreem pellets and gets fruits and veggies throughout the week. Fresh water every day. You would think her moral was low but she is still acting like herself, very vocal, gets out of her cage every day and still likes to play with her bird toys. She is getting older- almost 25 years old. I’ve never had a bird live this long. I did read that the dyes used in pellets can cause a reaction in older birds. But I’m not sure what a better solution would be, as the avian vet I took her to highly recommended zupreem. Do you have any suggestions?
- áJenily111 Get her off the fresh stuff. Not good for her. That's why she's plucking. Leave her with the ZuPreem, and start giving her seeds, instead. Birds are not supposed to eat fresh stuff.
@@Jenily111 May I also ask what size cage do you have her in? If it's to big, that's not good. Birds should not be in large cages, unless they're large birds, Greys, Amazons, Macaws, Cockatoos, Eclectus ... etc etc. Conures should be in a cage no bigger than 18 X 18 X 60. You could get away with 20 X 20 X 29, though. Also ... try getting toys that imitates feathers. They're called preening toys. But the fresh stuff makes birds very hormonal, and very plucky. Older birds should be on pellets, and seeds, only. You can also try getting AviEra Lafeber vitamins off Chewy, and put a tad in water daily. Also ... where are you located? Her plucking might have something to do with the climate.
Oh I like that idea of getting toys that imitate feathers! That's a good idea. I'll have to measure the cage. I know it's wider than 18" but I think it is shorter than 60".....yes I am in a cold weather climate right now...Indiana. And we have had well below normal temperatures this month. cold cold cold!@@taylorr4466
