I love Troian and I like her analysis of Spencer, Caleb, Hanna's situation. This scene with the three of them really was one of the greatest of the show.

Ceeelk yeah but they totally ignored the scene in the next episode.... it was like it never happened... That scene totally set up Caleb being in love with Spencer and yet, next episode...

FeedtheCath yeah exactly, they totally ignored that scene until 7b... (hope I'm not spoiling anything but) Spencer is the one who had to mention it to Hanna to justify herself... I get that they want to pretend spaleb never happened to make haleb shippers happy (which was a weak move from the writers imo) I find it stupid that they made Caleb forget all the things he said to Spencer that night and Hanna shrugged off the fact that she heard him literally bawling his eyes out for Spencer's forgiveness by trying to show her his feelings... that made a great well acted scene seems so meaningless now.

Am I the only one who's favourite Spoby scene is at the carnival when Veronica is walking one way motioning Spencer away from Toby, then she turns around and runs into his arms, not even caring what her mom might think. I think that was so cute and sweet:)

first of all, I prefer spoby . They were georgeous. But after 5 years when they all met again, Spencer was supposed to be alone ( after caleb) and was standing there with empty hands and broken heart. So sad! Toby was engaged and hanna switched between spencer and caleb. Although hanna was engaged with gordon, she immediately was interested again and jealous about caleb and spencer. Once a thief, always a thief.She was lying to spencer and the other friends about her feelings. Haleb would never work, he was the one who fought and cared for her- she still is on a level of a 3 years old child, no developpment through the seasons,. Still selfish, no self controll, always a) crying or b) freaking out. I thought, Hanna had not deserved Caleb.The ship between spencer and caleb was much more relaxed and adult.

Verena Menzel Hanna and Caleb ARE perfect for eachother. Although Hanna did need a lot done for her Caleb was willing to do so. Hanna loved Caleb and she never once lost feelings she was just confused and that’s the same with Caleb he got confused. I’ve heard that the best relationships take a break and find their way back to each other. Spencer and Toby are meant to be I could tell from season 1. Sure Toby might have been truely in love with Yvonne but he never gave up on Spencer and that’s true love wether u or anyone else likes it

That's by far my favourite Spaleb moment! I never shipped Spaleb but that scene brought tears to my eyes. for Spoby though, definitely first kiss and possibly every other scene! Spoby will my OTP forever!!

Favorite Spoby scenes are definitely 3x12 "The Lady Killer" all those Spoby scenes are amazing, 3x24 " a dAngerous gAme" oh my gosh love this episode so much, and 3x01 " It Happened That Night" when Toby gets out of the shower is just ughhh! Did anyone else notice Spencer is wearing that same shirt of Toby's in 1x19 " A Person Of Interest" when they have their first not suppose to be a date but turned into a date! Who remembers this? Goofball 104 points. 13 points times tripple word score plus the 50 point bingo bonus! Lol I have so many favorite Spoby moments but if I were to write them all then I would be writing a book! #TeamSpobyforlife if you couldnt tell!

Oh ya and how could we not forget the "pretending not to love you was the hardest thing Ive ever done" moment! 2x25 "unmAsked"! Also 5x05 "Miss Me x 100"! Spencer- Are you mad at me for waiting so long to tell you? Toby- Spence, get over here. You know what I want you to know is that your never alone, not even for s second! *kiss on head* then it goes into a car make out scene because that's one thing Spoby is best known for! Ezria too but not as much!

One of my favourite Spoby moments: When Doctor Sullivan shows the girls that Toby has been helping her, and has always been on their side. (Season 2 or 3 I think?) The point when Spencer realises that Toby still loves her, through my all-time favourite Toby line 'pretending not to love you was the hardest thing I've ever done' That kiss is literally the best and most tear jerking Spoby scene ever 😭😭❤️😍

+Sssophie I agree with that, but I just didn't think there was any need for it. Especially since Caleb loves Hanna and Hanna so far is just pretending she never heard any of it. I get they love each other and are together but that whole thing needs to be addressed. She needs to tell Caleb she was there. I would.

Yeah. I get what you mean. I guess it felt needed because it gave a little backstory to Spaleb. Up until then, it was hard to imagine their relationship during the time jump. But I also think you could argue it was unnecessary because we all knew Haleb were meant for each other and the other two would break up eventually. It felt like the dragged out their relationship a couple episodes too long

Spaleb was possibly the worst couple on the show. It's like they tore apart Haleb and Spoby for no reason and made a strange combo of the 2 combined. Edit: I know there were a lot of bad couples on the show but Spaleb made no sense to me. I don't want to upset Spaleb fans but personally I think Spoby and Haleb were much better couples.
