@@TheStarMachine2000 kinda, you are the better player but just because you are better doesn't mean an instant win, life is a game of chance and no matter how much the game is rigged there is always a possibility. Thus he plays like he wants to, to have fun but at the same time win as winning is fun as any gamer can say. So he isn't a troll much rather a cat playing with its prey enjoying itself before the final moment.

I don't think, it was a hacker nor a disgruntled employee. The whole situation is because a planned quest was triggered prematurely. That Class was an intended part of the game, just not expected to get unlocked so early after release. I believe, it is endgame content not meant for release until the game has started its popularity decline. The condition to unlock it, aparently, was reading a book that only spawns at the library at explicit request, something that one would only get the idea of doing if one actually read the books instead of just flipping through the pages to trigger the "book read" flags. Which means, the special Class was supposed to be unlocked by somebody who gives a damn about the lore, instead of just the power grind and quest rewards, and reads all the books that randomly spawn and then goes ahead and asks for books that only spawn when asked for, never randomly.

The in-world logic is horrifyingly looped. For example, there are Player Killers, yes? And the game is the 'most popular in the world' with a global userbase.... Taking that into account the number of PK users should be... well over 10,000 or more each with about 20+ kills per day. Now considering that they are all active at the same time, why does his little spree suddenly garner attention that the other PK's don't? The stuff the story sets up for itself just get abandoned or forgotten within pages of each other.
