Troll Trailer - Directed by John Carl Buechler and starring Noah Hathaway, Michael Moriarty, Sonny Bono, Phil Fondacaro, Phil Fondacaro. Torok is an ancient troll, and he is using the body of Wendy Anne to disguise himself, in order to take over an apartment building. Using an emerald ring, Torok transforms the residents into plant pods and plans to restore his old world in which he once lived in many years ago. We soon discover Torok is the ex-husband of Eunice St. Clair, a resident in the building who was married to Torok.

Loved this movie when it first came out. The movie works because the adults in the roles act serious and not campy like those movie with screaming teenagers. June Lockhart was excellent as the guardian Witch trying to keep the portal to the other world closed and her daughter becomes her younger self to battle the King Troll from the other dimension June Lockhart the mother from the classic Lost in Space TV show Anne Lockhart from the original Battlestar Galactica TV show A funny small person actor is from the movie Bad Santa There's Sonny Bono unfortunately. Julia Louise Dreyfus from Seinfeld Gary Sandy from the WKRP TV show about the radio station Michael Moriarity from a few other low budget horror movies and from early seasons of Law & Order TV show Shelley Hack from Charlie's Angels

Notice the character names Harry Potter and Harry Potter Jr in this classic 80's fantasy horror movie. I wonder were J.K. Rowling took inspiration. Coincidence maybe but this movie was in every vhs rental store back then. Blockbuster wasn't yet popular nationwide they were just getting started. ahhhhhhh the 80's!

i saw this when i was little and i loved it. ive been loojing for it for a while and just now found out it was a horror movie. seriously????????!!!!!!!!!!!!
