okay make a base of obsidian then cover it with water (like you said)Then wave a lake of lava and under the lava is quick sand and the way to get across is somehow make a redstone system to form a bridge if entered correct pass code

Usually if i play multiplayer against my friends to defend my base i dig a circle around my base and fill the circle up with lava and make like a bridge with a lever to get across

There is bedrock at the bottom of the world but the only way to break bedrock is to go in creativ3

if you have commands enabled do /give *username* command_block and you get a command block put a command to kill the person and like try to make a sneaky door to pass on
