Great stuff... i was born in 1963 and only just remember travelling on trolley buses into town on the falls road!!! This is a very valuable reference!!
Great footage.I can only -vaguely- remember one journey into town from Glengormley, I always wonder what tips the balance of economics between trams and trolleybuses. who knows, maybe we might see a return of hybrid electric buses. I'll be looking for answers at the trolleybus museum in Sandtoft.
This is great footage. I'm too young to remember it but I wonder if these buses were really quiet to travel in, as there was no combustion engine. Is this the case, anyone?
