#kayaktrolling #notbfs Took the Hobie Lynx out for a day of trolling & BFS fishing. Managed fish on both techniques. This video is how the day started out -- trolling in the wind -- and ended with BFS (see separate video). Ended the day with 4 trout and 4 bass landed. Were you using flicker shad on both rods? Which size do you prefer?

Hi. For trout, I like the Flicker 5. The Rapala jointed J5 minnow in fire tiger is also great for stained water conditions 🎣🎣

There was a 3000lb plant on 4/19 which included 500lbs of lightning trout.

For sure. Trout still seem lethargic. They should light up soon! Get 'em!

@@BayAreaBFS One guy was catching the new ones and releasing them, could tell by the size. He was nailing them on lures, and got his limit of lightnings, another guy started too with lures and was doing good, released the small ones but managed to get a few nice size rainbows and lightnings.
