i used to be an EP for a few star wars servers when i was in high school and i always tried to make things interesting for people because every EP besides a few would always make the most dull shit ever of "go here, shoot this" and there was like, 0 lore. in fact i had a whole ass story going on with a gray jedi and as far as i remember, people really did enjoy it. but when i played swrp for a few months back in 2022 again, god damn did it get even more boring. one server i was on only allowed for 10 droids to be spawned in at a time, there was no flying for pilots besides a VERY rare few times, and stories just didnt exist. i remember even trying to do another story with this very obviously comically bad dude that i even would voice and i know people enjoyed it, but the server owner ended up telling me straight up that no one gives a fuck. its kind of fucking sad ngl

@sirmatt101 thats why I gave up completely on star wars rp on gmod. You get the bad batch of people who just want to stand around and shoot shit. Not world build and actually get into there characters. It's just standing simulator and wait to go up a rank for standing. This is why I do DND and there's more control and character development.

@@endlessbacontreats9916 Pretty much, When I played 5 years ago when I was in Highschool most servers have event quotas, so GM's just put up some shitty event to count to their quota or they host events only for their battalion, add on the Drama, Autism, Unpaid responsibilities there's literally no benefits to grinding up in this game. Thankfully most people realize this and move on with their life's quickly I definitely feel like there's two sets of people the ones who grow up go to university, feel a woman's touch, and the people who grow into their late 20's playing the same server never accomplishing anything meaningful.
