I don't know if it's a change from when this video was released, but I read in the rulebook that you draw 3 round cards and it seems like you choose one to play on your turn.
Hmm... an interesting game. I'm not sure I like the variability of the troll king. Especially early on, it can create some pretty stark divergences between the player's engines. While those differences may be small initially, small early differences translate to large late game differences. Most of the rest of the variability is fine by me, but I'm unsure of that bit. That said, I did enjoy watching this a lot, and that _usually_ but not always means that I'll enjoy playing it as well. Thanks for the video! It was great as usual.
You always called them changelings but I guess you're stealing babies and replacing them with your own changelings! I don't think a lot of normal human villages just have changelings in storage 🤪 BTW, always enjoy your vids! The game seems super fun!
Hey i know this is completely unrelated to this video but I hoped you could help me anyway. I really‘d like to buy the witcher old world which you also reviewed, but it’s already been a year since it came out. I’m really not familiar with the Kickstarter concept but I assume it’s for people that get their game the first day and for that even more extra content. Anyway, so I looked up where I can buy it and I always ended up on Kickstarter because it is linked that way and from there I couldn’t add the game to my shopping cart. Could you help me find a reliable website?
Fantastic hate draft at 1:01, although it appeared to be unintentional. Instead of taking the cows with Naveen's last King's action, he could've moved a Troll into Village I, and gotten his bell with action 2.
Great presentation as always! I bought some games following your videos and you never disappointed my expectations, I trust your taste in games, so I ask you: is good at 2? Is there enough interaction or is it a group solitaire?
Great video as usual and, as a side note, both of your outfits are awesome in this one! Not sure this game is for me (I think the randomness of the troll king would frustrate me far too much) but that's why these playthrough videos are so valuable. Thanks again for such an enjoyable watch :)
Received my copy a couple of days ago. It looks beautiful. Rewatching your amazing video for the rules and playthrough! Always fun to see you guys play.
looks like a great game! the art of the main board is colorful and pretty but placed pieces seem to get lost in the art. the troll king being so large on your player boards and using pentagons instead of hexagons (which can tile a plane) seem to make the game clunky though... easily fixable though if this is still a prototype
I don't think they accidentally picked pentagons over hexagons, that would be impossible to do. The reason is so that it's easier to place a tile without a doorway butting up against a wall.
