CORRECTION: Clip at :35 is Chicago Symphony Orchestra from April 7, 1963 I hope you all like this video because it took me over 12 hours to make this (creating musescore files, making sure notes are accurate, not getting alto clef wrong, double checking other editions of scores, and editing everything together). If this video trashes I will not make another one of these so let me know otherwise.
Please keep them coming! I only notice that in Tchaik 6 at 3:14 Tbn I.II should be a simple inversion of III, repeating the destination note of the triplets rather than adding a chromatic note. The intonation isn't helping us here!
As a composer just trying to get the sound of trombone in my head for an orchestra piece, this is hugely helpful. Thank you so very much for putting in all that work for this!
no he looks like someone taking a shower while not taking a shower - also his name is valery gergiev and hes the imposter bc he sides with russia during the russian invasion of ukraine.
The great thing about this video is that all of this is playable for beginners (to a degree) and intermediate trombonists, opening up a wider variety of musicians that can learn the melodies or backgrounds to some of the greatest pieces of all time.
If you are looking for a video with the trombone excerpt from alpine symphony the is actually a fantastic video where Chicago brass played the WHOLE alpine symphony back in 2001
@@htmx48 oh, sorry I don't know how it happened, I thought I would have written this comment under an other video, where the trombonist had a big solo and camera showed the flutist during a break
