That intro though 😂 I got the opportunity to see bill perform at the house of blues in Houston around 2015. He inspired me to not just play orchestral trombone. Within 2 years I was at the house of blues as well with some big bands

Evidently we trombonists love to tell and hear stories. This reminded me of back in the 80's I heard Carl Fontana was playing in a club in Orlando FL, about 50 miles west of my home. I went and caught him for a few sets and got a chance to ask him a question about slide lube, since I was struggling to find a better product. I asked him what he used and he replied "Whatever works --- owl s..t if it works." Thank God we now have better stuff available. ;)

Hey Paul, maybe you can answer if you see this.. I don't understand what Bill is acting out exactly. Is Bill saying that Frank did that with the trombone? Or that he scatted like that, and went back and forth with the trombone? I think he tells this story in his bone2pick interview as well. As always man, thanks for doing your thing.
