Yes. Epic sound track. Lived out in the boonies and from a half mile away could hear my brothers self made speakers... It was glorious and the subs... oh yea as they rattle your pants. Now he lives near neighbors/city, and can't play music at proper volume...

Another line that hits really hard it Tron/Rinzlers last line when he says “I fight for the users” again, it’s such a good callback and such a nice wrap up for his character to see him redeemed.

Tron Legacy wasn't hated, it just wasn't watched enough. Don't think that the film lost money, it did make money, just not enough for Disney . Tron is a niche film and as such the "built in" audience for a sequel was limited, that along with the required knowledge of the previous film will have made it a harder sell to the normal movie going public. I've watched this multiple times in the cinema in Imax and normal, I own the soundtracks and the Bluray. I did my part for another sequel :)

Yeeesssssssss!!! When Tron Legacy came out I watched that movie in theaters like 7 times and it was the best cinematic experience I’ve ever had. To be able to transport myself to The Grid would be a dream come true, and this will only get me closer to that.

Same...this was love at first sight. I can honestly say this was one of the best cinema experiences, watching it in the Hi-Fi store I worked in at that time. Just amazing 7.1 audio and Daft Punk perfectly nailing the score.

The original TRON came out when I was in high school. It packed a punch from the start- it was vision of a future that we are just beginning to see IRL. TRON: Legacy took the "next step" in SO many ways- it's incredible on its own, but as the next phase, it's absolutely mind blowing. I can't wait to see a third TRON movie eventually, even if I have to wait as long as I did for the second- but I really hope it won't take THAT long.

I was on laughing gas at the dentist the other day. Suddenly, for some reason, this movie popped into my head and I started mentally raving about it to myself: Me, (very enthusiastically): "Man, Tron: Legacy is SUCH a good movie! Seriously, that has to be one of my FAVORITE movies! I can't believe I don't watch it more! That's it, I'm watching it when I get home." 😂😂😂 Then I did the same thing about Journey and a Bob Dylan song 😂 (Real talk though, LOVE this movie!)

Epic movie. One of the very few with a strong, single father that doesn't need a female character to "save" him. A beautifully filmed tale of the struggle between ambition, greed, humility, sacrifice, and the power of love to redeem our older selves from our younger mistakes. It's the entire Star Wars Skywalker/Solo family in one film. Oh, and as a single father with two generations of Ducati owners in my family, there's that too :-)

Tron Legacy was truly a beautifully crafted film. The visuals, the soundtrack, the nostalgia, the sense of truly exploring a new universe that would be The Grid. I watch the movie regularly and still enjoy every moment of it. Towards the end, as Flynn and the others ride the line towards the portal, it's one of the most visually stunning segments in a sci-fi movie. Ever.

Saw the original Tron in the theater when I was a kid. I was blown away with Tron Legacy. The soundtrack is awesome (including the remix album). Crushes me that any sequel was shelved due to lack of interest in the franchise. The cast isn’t getting any younger, so it’d be awesome to see someone pick it up before it’s too late, and see Flynn’s Arcade one final time. Long Live Tron!

Much like the dread, this film came out in an odd time, somehow despite doing so much right, meaningful motives, pleasent characters, high stakes scenes and action impossible to forget and a soundtrack not found anywhere else, disney axed this franchise before it could truly take off. And to this day some amoungst them probably forget it. I only hope we hear those words one last time before i get too old to remember them. This words that set us up for an incredible epic universe with so much unused potential. "The Grid"

Both the original and legacy were risky, cutting edge movies when they were made that ruffled a lot of feathers and Disney would never make something like that right now. I remember I was on a road trip back to Littleton Colorado from my hometown of Abilene Texas when this soundtrack was released. I picked it up before leaving Abilene and listened to the physical CD for the duration of the trip (10+ hours). I'd still listen to it for hours on end today. So good. Definitely an underrated movie/soundtrack.

I am a HUGE Tron Legacy fan and loved the original when I was a kid. I was skeptical like many of us whey they came out with a sequel so many years later...I'm sure glad they did! The CGI and Daft Punk definitely made the movie spectacular!

I grew up watching Tron Legacy as often as I could. I loved (and still love) everything about it. The soundtrack is amazing, it gives me chills every time. The visuals are gorgeous, other than Avatar I haven't seen a movie with visuals that enthrall me as much as this. Even the story is amazing. I wish this movie was more popular, it definitely deserves it.

From the second Sam enters the grid is stunning visual after stunning visual. The sirens, the disc battles, the light cycles, Flynn’s house, the club, the train, CLU’s base, the gateway, all of it is gorgeous. Even once he leaves the grid the last scene of him and Quora on the bike at sunrise is breathtaking, it’s just such a good movie.

Honestly with how mediocre a lot of Disney movies have been lately I kinda don’t want them to touch tron anytime soon. Legacy came out in a time when disney was making a lot of underrated, top tier movies (sorcerers apprentice I see you and I appreciate you) but with everything being so formulaic now I just don’t see them doing it justice. Both of the tron movies were really pushing boundaries at the time and disney is far to scared to do that right now.

My Gawd! The whole thing by Daft Punk is just genius! Every time that pipe organ selection comes in, I get magnum goosebumps! It is so eerie and evocative, and it reminds me of some other organ theme I have heard so very long ago, but cannot identify. It is driving my crazy (in a nice way)! Both TRON and TRON Legacy are a fun journey down a virtual rabbit hole. A visual feast for the eyes and, while simplistic in storytelling, a unique twist of good versus bad in using a completely alternative universe. The the music for TRON Legacy is a brilliant score. I'm excited at the early reports of a 3rd TRON movie in the works.

I fell in love with Tron when it was originally released in the 1980's, when arcades were a thing Tron, Star Wars, and The Red Baron were my go to games to play. The World of Tron was really my first step into Cyberpunk. The idea of a digitized world that existed along side our own fascinated me. So, when Tron: Legacy came out I had to absoluely see it. I was not disappointed. The Music score, the pictoral ambience, the action was phenomenal. Honetly, I am of the opinion, that film score easily made the movie memorable; that it made the movie. It made the vast expase of the grid seem infinite. Absolutely love this music.

Thank you so, so much for this!! Tron 2 is one of my fav sci-fi films - I'll never understand the hate it gets! Brilliant music production coupled with mind-blowing visuals, and a solid father-and-son story. It's still my go-to when I want to hear some beautiful synthy beats. I hope we see a third film someday.

I’ve been listening to the score of this movie on repeat basically since it came out. other movie soundtracks I have to listen to in waves since I get tired of them, but this one is impossible to get tired of. I’m glad someone else gets it

Disc wars is my favorite track from this soundtrack but the whole thing is great. One of my favorite movies of all time. Sad to know not many people liked it or saw it. An underated movie for sure.

I've been listening to loads of movie soundtracks in the background whilst WFH and this immediately stood out. Took a look and of course it's Daft Punk. Incredible musicians, and what a beautiful soundtrack! I recommend searching The Dark Knight music & ambience - peaceful rain on gotham rooftops for another epic soundtrack

As brief as the orchestral score is, it is as majestic as Daft Punk's electronic score is exciting. This is my favorite Disney live- action film, and I loved the original from 1982. It is sad that we apparently will not get a trilogy out of this. The ending of this film left it wide open for an epic conclusion... but Disney decided to give the fate of a Tron 3 on the lackluster performance of John Carter....a film they poorly marketed. FLYNN LIVES!!!! 🤘🤘

I also love how Tron himself turned back to protecting the Users. I can see how they would start off the second movie by Tron getting washed up shore and Flyn finds him or different Users that discovers him.

Tron’s arc in legacy is honestly one of the most underrated parts of that movie. Even though it’s pretty obvious that he’s the Rinzler if you pay attention (the T on his suit is a dead give away) it’s super interesting to see how the previous savior of the grid got corrupted so badly that he nearly had to die to come back to his senses. It also made CLU that much more of a villain that he had Tron by the throat like that.

Yes! What a fantastic ambient world! This is a great soundtrack from the legendary Hans Zimmer and Daft Punk! I hope they do more movie soundtracks.

Just rewatched Legacy the other day and man it is awesome.Thats why I’m here, to revisit the music and happy to have found this. I really hoped for TR3N with a continued story of Sam and Cora. It sucks they didn’t get to continue the story. With Troy Ares it’s suppose to be a different story. I just hope it’s awesome

Love The Grid intro music. The soundtrack for this movie didn't leave my car for years upon years. I always loved kicking it in when I drove at night, especially. The music was just, classic. The movie too, but it was sadly not advertised properly, I feel. It could have hit harder, but it was darn good, I just wish more saw it, it felt like a proper sequel to the original. One thing though. Yori Lives! I really wish Cindy Morgan had been able to portray her character again in the sequel, but Bruce Boxleitner is an asshole and treated her very badly. Given his role in the sequel, I have no doubt, he was one of the reasons they never brought her back.

@@protoborg Exactly, but really she should have been in it, given the importance Yori had in the original. I had been in the facebook group trying to get her in it for almost 6 years before the movie came out and been with it for 10 years now after.

I had only seen tron legacy for a long while because the original wasn’t easy to find when I was younger. As soon as Disney+ launched it was the first thing I watched and I was really impressed but mostly shocked at the glaring lack of Yori in legacy. She’s a great character and I would have loved for her to be in it, especially because of how they handled Tron (which was really interesting in my opinion).

Was finding a Ambiance to sleep too, and found this and was so happy, this will remain my all time favorite movie, not even number 1, above that... mistake was thinking I could sleep to this, ended up crying with nostalgia and absolutely jamming and pumping to the worlds best OST that will ever befall human ears
