Hey Everyone! Thanks for watching my TRON 2 Movie Ride, Check out my original TRON ride and other Movie Rides Here!: ru-vid.com/group/PLq4o56DAXjXX0neG-Ok1CalJxuC1Bk6zy
Well, you pretty much crammed everything I thought might have been missing from the previous version into this! This felt more like a really amazing, beautiful dark ride, that gave you time to enjoy the scenery than a roller coaster, which is fine! Would love to see this done as a motion simulator, if not a physical ride.
sitting here with my mouth hangin open...what a masterpiece of creativity! brought back memories spent lots of time in arcades. Thanks for the experience it was amazing.
This is the best of the best that I have ridden, décor, scenes, displays, was very glamorous, and it's like a science fiction, I will ride it again and again. Thank you for the ride.
Best Planet Coaster Experience ever? Best Planet Coaster Experience EVER! Even helping making the giant Sark im completely in awe with some of the structures and effects (the teletransportation ones, damn!) you did here. 10/10 good sir!
First ride in 2021. I was dazzled watching the movie when originally released in theaters. You dazzled me with your skills capturing key story points with wonderful graphics, voice overs and memories all wrapped up in a super ride. Amazing. Smiling. Great way to start the new year!
I'm blown away by the amount of detail in this. And I cant believe all of this was designed in Planet Coaster! That is truly a work of art and amazing talent. Would love to see how you made some of iconic images from the movie with the game interface. This brought back so many memories of one of my favorite films. Fantastic job.
Wow true artistic talent at work and in raw form. Truly a joy and wonderful experience i would love to contribute! Two things for certain one thing for sure i am a huge Tron fan (original 1982) and i know talent when i see it this.....well this is simply beyond astounding!! Tommy you are truly a gifted & talented man!
Finally! A very good ride, so much memories returned. This tron discs throwers are awesome, direct at the start of your ride, after your digitalisation, you can see four disc holders and how one of them got hit by a disc. The carrier was nice to see too. Oh and this orange floor with the green gridbugs, awesome. A very good work by you, really nice done.
I can't communicate how magical and incredible this ride is! It just captures the atmosphere and essence of Tron so perfectly. The mood, the music, the colours, all wonderful. At times I feel like I'm watching parts of the film, the likeness is that good! All the time and effort that went into this really paid off. Devotion is not without rewards :) It's inspired me. I've always loved how involved one can get in a theme park ride, the thrills and excitement, just from the designs. So this game looks like it's worth the money to have some fun with. There are a few films that I'm fond off that I think would make some nice rides. With any luck, they'll turn out half as good as this! I hope you're planning more rides, Tron or otherwise!
This is quite incredible. definitely worth a share. great work buddy, I only wish I was this creative and had this much time to create something this amazing
I have some suggestions. I love your movie rides to bits, they're incredible and wish they were legit real rides. Your Close Encounters ride is spot on, I've already commented on how excellent it is. And convinced me that you're the man for the job. A ride on E.T. Not based on the actual ride, but more your take on the movie. Would be great to start in the forest at night, see the UFO, see their heart lights and flee from the UFO hunters, looking over the neighbourhood lights, Eliots backyard, escaping through the streets at halloween being chased by the government. Finally ascending over roadblocks, over the town, through the trees and landing back to see the UFO finally take off again. Would be incredible. The next is a ride on The Last Starfighter. Starting in the Starlight Starbright trailer park, seeing the arcade machine glitch out, seeing Centauri's StarCar welcoming you to the adventure. Then shooting off down the stretches of road at high speed, then launching into space. Travelling through the worm-hole, arriving at the Rylos Star League base, seeing the Rylan's at work, the hangar of Gunstars. Then the base starts to explode from the Ko-dan bombardment. You quickly board a Gunstar and shoot off into space to confront the armada at the Frontier. You dodge the Ko-dan deck-fighters and activate death blossom, destroying the Command-ship and saving the galaxy, then descending back down into the trailer park. With how you incorporate key-dialogue and soundtrack cues, I reckon these would be perfect themes to tackle. Only if you want to, of course, just suggestions ;)
Funny you mention ET and Last Starfighter, both to witch I was going to attempt but passed on do to the amount of track you would see and characters I would need to create. I do have a few movies in mind I will attempt, but thats a secret for now! :P Thank for your comments by the way! :D
Only just managed to catchup with this one Tommy. What can I say that hasn't already.....wow. You've really brought a lot of the film into this one. I especially liked it when you transitioned out of the tunnel and into the cityscape at 3:49. Incredible stuff.
Holy @#!^!$&$*@!^ Sark's Revenge is so much more awesome than the original. I have been a HUGE Tron fan since I was a wee child and got to see the movie at Disney World during the original run. You have totally captured the feel and demonstrated great creativity in expanding it. Bravo!
THANK YOU jaymanwitt! Yah, I was a huge fan of TRON growing up as well! Played the video game all the time also. Making this was fun, must of watched the movie 50 times while doing so. LOL
This is beautiful! It's a work of art. The only thing that could make this better is if Planet Coaster made it possible for you to make the track invisible (transparent).
Please help me find my jaw... Dropped it somewhere along the ride... The story and some of the effects you made are much better than the first TRON ride you made. This was like watching a short film or something. A really epic short film :P
Amazing! I love all the Tron videos you've done. I'm also a big Tron fan. I've a lot of Tron music videos. If you like, you can see them on my Tron playlist
I'm listening and watching this with my beats headphones and it seems like I'm in a similator ride man you should make that your business and pursue something like that
Your to kind as always Creeper! Man, I wish I could do this for a living, how fun of a job. I'm actually a graphic designer and I used to be a DJ for 20, thats how I got the knowledge to do the sound editing!
Oh wow! I would give up after a week lol! Do you think at some point you will make a "behind the scenes" type thing to show how you built it and stuff? I'm always interested to see how people build stuff, but if it's not your thing I totally understand :D
TommyT067 I just started playing Planet Coaster a few weeks ago, and I have no idea how you built any of this. It would be cool to see how you built it, not necessarily a timelapse. But whatever. And again, nice job!
