Its about to get serious!... *Episode 63* out now! - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lEC4G8nPweo.html www.patreon.com/posts/race-to-ai-d-d-1-105298518?Link&
That same thought passes through my head several times each episode. Edit: And the format is so unique. (Well, before everyone tried copying it, it was)😂 I can (and do) rewatch each episode and get more from it. Very few programs can do that.
@BestWafflesEUW xD oh great and bountiful algorithm, we pray unto thee, thy gleaming holy circuits, give this glorious work of artistry the recognition it most humbly deserves.
Man, this just keeps ramping up. Vizuriel is definitely one magnificent bastard, and his underlings are brutal. Good to hear the rasp of Celestia’s voice again. Mite is such a great addition to the team- dude is such an oddball. Perfect inspiration from Mike and his recent, uh, _interesting_ pre-fight trash talk.
@@WeDoAIStuffdo hope we get to see more obitus soon. Also, just curious what the power difference is between Vizuriel and Malakar(sp?). Unless you have plans to show us, of course. 😁
Tronald did the right thing. Visurial had the power to destroy cities long before this - him holding back for a time wouldn't have stopped anything. Like as not the world would continue to undervalue the threat, not taking the word of the adventurers. At least this attack is proof of the threat.
I politely disagree. In such a world like Dungeons & Dragons where your personal actions have a very tangible weight speaking in an alignment fantasy world like sense, actions should be considered very carefully as Saxy was getting at, I have very little doubts that this decision is going come back to haunt the group specifically Tronald. You've a good point though, devils don't need human or divine consent to murder at their leisure! I'd like to know more about the attack proof of threat, slipped past me?
You're right. It was a false choice offered. If Vizuriel wants to take a city, he could have done so before or could do so again at any time. And he doesn't need to resurrect this Kaz guy to do it. Or he could resurrect someone else just like him even if the deal was struck. He would have simply taken the city anyway, just to impress upon Tronald how helpless he is, to demoralize his willingness to resist when the real test comes later, because he wants his obedience. The only thing Tronald can actually control in that moment is to keep his word or not, and whether or not he will play the game being presented him, (a rigged game if you will lol). Anything beyond that is an illusion. He did the right thing.
Good story. My argument is that regardless of whether they rezzed the girl the evil guys were still going to destroy that town. Tronald was given the illusion of a choice. He chose the correct path.
Well, yes and no. Viz is a devil and devil's always abide by their contractual agreements. He wouldn't have gone and destroyed the town, because then Tronald would have every right to bring back Celestia. Plus it would just have destroyed the whole point of what he was trying to do here. That being said, Vizuriel is planning to kill everyone to bring about "peace" so he does plan on killing everyone in that town eventually, and Celestia is needed to help defeat Viz, so yes, Tron made the right choice. It would have been more interesting if Viz promised that even after he raised the evil gods, he'd still leave White Willow alone, then Tronald's choice would have had more moral ambiguity IHMO.
@@breakmanradio2530Devils only have to follow their deals if they’ve signed those contracts. If there’s no contract they are able to lie and deceive. A contract binds them to follow through on it’s terms.
I say it every time, Guy - but you make my week. I don't even look forward to TV releases like I do your stuff. Every day a banger! Really appreciating how you're progressing both with the story and your use of tools!
Earlier than usual brother bear but I do love a good surprise, shame that 30 mins from now Im gonna be itching like a crack head until this time next week lmao
This script and series is the best I have seen in my 24yrs. No amine comes close, no big corporation, no movie saga that comes to mind is as good as this. Keep cooking man.
I'm always so hesitant to watch because i love having these for while I'm working but im so eagerly to watch I Simply Cannot Contain Myself AND I SHANT
The fact that you dont have more veiws or subscribers is a literal crime punishable by law. You are underapreshiated man. But please keep on going, this series is amazing
I'm glad you're enjoying the slower pace! I don't ever want to drag it out, but I think it's important not to rush, and really get all the itty bitty parts of what makes the story 'the story' out there!
@@WeDoAIStuff next DnD campaign my group is doing something similar. Milestone leveling instead of Exp and we've told the DM not to push leveling too hard. We are in it for the adventure.
@@WeDoAIStuff definitely, and plopping easter eggs 20 episodes ahead for it to come full circle later is not an easy task. You make it seem natural on top of that! Thanks again AIguy 🫡
Not the most business savvy decision made today, Tronald. Great episode! I have a feeling Mr. Depp is going to make an appearance again soon. Hopefully swinging in last second to clutch up a victory.
This campaign is proof that you don't have to reinvent the wheel to make amazing story arcs. It's possible to take existing lore and shape it to fit your characters. Anyone else here completely addicted?
Vizuriel is Tronald's son. It's obvious that the wife that left is Asmodeus's daughter Glasya who sought Tronald's powerful bloodline to make Vizuriel. Spoilers. Take that.
I think Vizurial would have attacked anyway. He wasn't going to cancel his plans after going this far. Why does he care what Tronald thinks or does though. Why would such a powerful being play these games? Did anyone else catch the reference to the clones? How many does he have? An army obviously. Unlimited soldiers? Can he clone ANYONE? This is getting wild.
Spoilers ahead Oh absolutely he would’ve. If one pays attention to EXACTLY what Vizurial had said, “I will not breathe life into Kas on one condition”. He said “I”. Then after Tronald had brought Celestia back to us, it was Malakar who had revived Kas. I fully believe he would’ve used this as a lie of omission to march on White Willow immediately afterward. Tronald made the right decision here. 100%.
Every time I think that you’ve outdone yourself you go and outdo yourself again another absolute amazing episode. Keep up the good work. Hopefully this will be on Netflix someday.😊
Neil's Kaplan voice is perfect for an erudite villain. There are his most notable roles. Madara Uchiha (Naruto Shippuden) Emperor Zarcon (Voltron: Legendary Defender) Aurelion Sol (League of Legends) Skadge (Star Wars: The Old Republic)
The dexterity save for just walking part was so hilarious. The DM making you roll just cause your big mouth companion mentions something stupid is so relatable lol.
Right before watching I happened so see your page's banner, Celestia, Saxi, Tronald, Rawr. She's alive thirty seconds and already giving them shit, great story telling.
Hey man, AI Guy! Have to give you props for setting that epic scene with Visurial! That insane display of power 4 pit fiends, 30 cultist 15 of whom seem uniquely powerful, & a right hand who could probably be an end game boss himself! I was joking that somewhere in Celestia or the Hells, some alarm bells have got's to be going nuts!
Vizuriel's voice reminded of someone for the LONGEST time since he was first introduced and where the idea for his voice actor AI voice. It was Tobi's voice after he went full Madara mode, and stopped hiding. He sounds EXACTLY like Tobi (Madara) Phase.
Tronald and Celestia were lucky the bodies weren't switched and masked with an illusion so Tronald cast the spell on Kas thinking it was her. Like the Joker tricked Batman into thinking he was saving Rachel but wound up finding Harvey Dent (sort of) because the Joker switched locations.
Vizuriel = Tronald's son? His first wife = the daughter of Asmodeus? Yes. That's my theory. Yeah, it all fits together perfectly. Man, I feel like I'm watching GOT again.
Here thinking I'm the first o ly to see all the early birds a week early and remembering some guys are a week ahead 😂😂😂.... I freaking love this channel, wish I could support it but my country just doesn't allow. Keep it up my guy
The bad guys had the power to destroy the city without Kas, AND the specific language of "I" regarding the not raising of Kas means they were going to do it anyway. Bring back your cleric. You'll need her
Im not interested in d&d much but this is fantastically entertaining!! Shits all over any soap opera and so many interesting elements, immersion vs 4th wall vs the fantasy world. Almost make me WANT to get into d&d!
Tronald does not care about Celeste deeply. When was that ever shown? He cares about Saxiron and he cares about Raarh, and he cares about his apprentice.
She's a cleric. Resurrecting her should be the last thing she wants, and if she has any goodness in her she not only wouldn't want to be brought back to life, but especially if it required the sacrifice of thousands of people.
What would have happened if say used the resurrection scroll on celestia instead of Tronald, technically Tronald would have fulfilled the terms of the agreement to not resurrect Celestia
LMAO, I actually found myself angry at Mite for his dumb comment about face planting, and that dumb comment making Joe have Tronald roll a dice in order to walk towards Vizuriel while holding eye contact in an extremely well lit area. My dude needed to use up a lucky cuz Mite Bite Ya can't bite his tongue.
Imho would make more sense if party tried to look through the tomb for clues how exactly Tronald linked to them, as either himself or as Lord Tan(i mean, they mentioned clone pods), and if Obitas in cohorts with that chick from library and Lord Tans past The choice is kinda irrelevant, even if Kas is godtier tactitian, he's not the only one at Obitas disposal. Besides, this is dnd, after the first town all good-aligned deities that care about humans should be on alert, dispatchin high ranking paladins and clerics, especially with Viz being somewhat a demigod at least FoR tEh AlGoRiTm \o/
