What's great about guardian/shooter combo is also their mutation synergy. Their mutation gives buff needed by their opposite troop type; guardian attack mutarions gives shooter hp etc. They cover the weakness of the other. Carrier is good early game for raiding deadhills. It helps you develop your hill quicker.

I tought carriers where better than guardians bc almost none use guardians on my server and many people told me that guardians are good only for defense usually ,i usually preferred carriera for the Faster march and bc i got shikaree and It became my fav ant ,i will be carrier main for a long time probably and maybe one day i'll switch to shooters when i'll have time and rss to upgrade their evos more ,i Just love the fact that carriers are much Faster than others and considering that im not a PvP player but more a PvE player i found carrier way better for my playstyle

Atm the only reason i would switch to shooters is getting more damage to pangolin or lizards 😅 once i'll start getting stronger i think i can start upgrading shooters maybe

If you watch my videos I run a gss and then a pure guard for unit 1. Guardians are very useful
