Judges work with the cops regularly, there isn't many judges that aren't bias towards cops.

the problem is that judges are not impartial either in the usa or even worse in the uk where i live .judges are more commonly recruited from prosecutors than defence lawywers,here in the uk we have a nurse doing several life sentences for killing 5 babies in a unit dealing with seriously ill babies.professional experts were allowed as witnesses for the prosecution non for the defence .the so called experts were years behind currant medical treatments for sick babies so it was out of date or wrong. however the judge disallowed defence questions about their knowledge and ability .they all said murder three stating that 2 babies died as a result of insulin injection despite no evidence of it in their bodies and the fact they were being treated for hyperglycia.the experts didnt know this caused the same symptoms as insulin and was fatal in babies .they insisted they had been delinerately injected! the judge allowed this false evidence referred to it in his summing up and as he didnt allow rebuttal witnesses the jury believed it! nor did he allow the full medical rotas admitted .this would have proved far more babies died when lucy was not on duty .in far more suspicious circumstances .he only allowed the rotas that concerned her in evidence making it appear that this only happened when she was on duty .the unit was run badly due to lack of funds and understaffed.due to nhs cuts . the defence tried to get in that she was scapegoated so the blame of so many children could not be blamed on the unpopular govt we had in power .the judge had been told to find her guilty so again shut down this arguement ..same with this case the judge is clearly the third prosecutor .nothing can be allowed to change the convenient lie that karen reade killed her .the judge with evidence of an everwidening conpiracy unfolding with actual documentation and texts etc to prove it just shuts it down and ignores it.i was a cop .the likely scenario for me is that kevin got in a drunken brawl in the house and as everyone was smashed he was killed by accident! not accidently i hasten to add but simply the guys and the dog were not meant to kill him! getting mindlessly drunk was common with these people.they are cops however.lets drag him outside and say he must have fell.then hey karen reades phoned shes out of her gourd drunk cant remember a thing! great lets make her the patsy! she ran him over and left the scene! now we get together with my good buddies investigating and fit the facts round that! weve done it before its no big deal were cops! judge will be on our side slam dunk!problem was karen plead not guilty the scheme is falling apart.

There’s just too much wrong with this case, in my opinion for a jury to find guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. Too many inconsistencies in the investigation, in the handling of evidence, in proper investigative procedures. This is ludicrous.

Not only THIS testimony today but the defense were going through this socalled detectives text messages in open court on monday and wednesday too. This is the most unprofessional and biased lead detective Ive ever seen here on youtube and believe me,...I follow a lot of true crime. He should be fired,...she has to be set free of all charges. Guilty or not. Personally I dont believe she even is guilty . It all comes from this asshole "investigator". And the fact this even go upwards the chain of command is very disturbing. I think he sat on the curb with his glass to get his bearings and as she backed up she took him under the scar is curved just like a car tail light and bumper he probably dragged himself up on the lawn which would explain losing his shoe and particles on his clothes but he probably did manage to enter the house for help where he encountered an argument and the dog attack and that explains his fit bit and he probably was thrown out.They may or may have not known he finally succumbed on the lawn or saw him but thought he would leave that would explain the text of how long to… they probably all had a hand in failing this wonderful young man!

Good evening "sunshine",....At my end its now 1 am friday. Did you also watch his testimony on monday and wednesday ? The fact he is still on the job is quite amazing. He claimed he never had any complaints about the way he was conducting his job but thats a straight out lie. He WAS infact reprimanded for the text messages. And just the fact FBI was brought in on this investigation revealed these horrific texts which he never saw coming. Guilty or not,... he hates her (Karen Read)- he hates her lawyer which he confirmed he still did in open court. This case should be dismissed,.... most biased socalled detective Ive ever seen /heard. Boston PD has a long history of wrongful doings and I just cant help wonder,.....Is this one of those cases ? Theres more than enough reasonable doubt here to throw these accusations to kingdom come and then some. When he testified on monday and the jury got to hear the first text messages one juror dropped her jaw only by listening- another just put down his notebook and looked stunned. Discussing open police investigations with ANYONE not authorized to have information pertaining to that case, is grounds for firing and charges. This guy needs to go.

I have a close family member that has been in law enforcement for 30+ years and he has NEVER discussed a criminal case with me until the case was concluded including when he was shot. We got the middle of the night call that he was shot but was going to be ok and that a neighboring agency had arrested the man but nothing during the investigation.

Proctor is either a big liar or outright incompetent. " ...doesn't matter to me if the homeowner is a cop, if the victim is a police officer..." But common sense before any legal or police training dictates the house was cleared from the investigation or at most its a part of the crime scene if not the actual crime scene. In this case it wasn't even considered. Also when the accounts you're handed dont make sense to you which seems to be the case about the evidence, you raise concern, you recuse yourself you do everything but go with the flow. He went with the flow and deserves to go for lack of integrity including everyone else involved in this mega abuse of the public trust!!

Unfortunately seems irrelevant at this point if she hit him or not! If I was a juror after listening to this scumbag testimony she would be found not guilty! Even if she hit him I don’t understand how is it possible to have little pieces of tail light broken and assume that is enough evidence , she didn’t run over him. Tail light must be high in proximity to his waist, it just doesn’t make any sense to break it if you’re reversing slowly down the driveway and hitting a body.

A clique decided Karen was the fall person, they're connected to xyz in the pd and therefore whatever they say becomes the narrative unless there's an 'earthquake' discovery or a root and branch change that pours scrutiny over cases. No different to how LAPD closed ranks to protect their own murderer- Stephanie Lazarus for over 23yrs including the dissappearance of inculpatory evidence against her. Only difference between the two cases is LAPD did not pin it on an innocent person although justice was evaded for 23yrs.

I was thinking the same thing. In every trial I've watched the one raising the objection had to give a legal basis for it. This is the first time I've witnessed a judge just saying sustained repeatedly.

You don’t always need to state a basis to an objection if it is apparent based on the context, but it is good practice to do so for the record and to appeal.

She is a part of the Albert friend group the kids call her Aunt Bev. She was in the past very quick,impatient with the defense and allowed every objection the prosecution offered. She seems to have changed a little of her attitude
