I’ve had this album on repeat since it dropped a few months ago. Been a big fan of Trophy Eyes and John’s solo stuff for years, I reckon he’s one of the best Australian lyricists honestly. Stoked to see them get some love on here too.
for real man, this album, and this band, ever since i started listening i had my head blown, i first heard the same way, a album i was listening ended and they came on with blue eyed boy and DAMN i loved it

If you haven’t checked out their back catalogue, then I highly recommend it. I remember hearing the album ‘Mend, Move On’ for the first time back in 2015 and being blown away by how open and honest John was in his lyrics. So I’d start there. Their transition in sound from punchy post hardcore/pop punk to their current sound was so seamless and unique to them. Love them boys ❤
I love that Richo reacts to not only things we suggest as an audience but also things he loves as a way to share them with us, just like a friend you share music with in your everyday life
S&S might be the best Album of the decade. It hits everything. Every Song is different, yet complimenting the previous and next track. There is not a single bad second.
Gotten into these guys a lot recently, had heard of them and heard their stuff before but it didn't really hit, but the last month or so I've been listening a whole lot to their album Chemical Miracle
