I usually feel like bloopers make people feel like they are trying too hard to be silly, but y’all have me rolling 🤣 I love how genuine you both are. Wish I was in Australia for the show!
@@sydneyplantguy that’s what’s so great about it 😆 I wish I had plant friends like y’all. Goals to move to AU…just minus the crazy cost for everything lol
OMG, that Philo Autumn Queen is so beautiful😍And the peperomia - it´s going to be a big success, such a beautiful plant. It such joy to watch you two together laughing - I laugh with you too at home 😀
I really enjoy when you and A J are together wow what beautiful plants sure wish I could go to the fair or just go see A Js greenhouse would be awesome but I live in the USA so I probably not going to make that trip as I am 74 years old I have so many houseplants some of them are on poles now thanks to your wonderful information videos you are my favorite houseplant person on RU-vid
OMG you both together are just so good for the soul going to be hopefully be able to afford to get a few things to set up grow poles in the near future 🙏
a quick note on colocasias... depending on temps and weather, they get bigger in heavier potting mix.. i add orchid bark and or coco chunks to my store bought mix.. most ears do well in the ground.. your weather seems warmer than here in the u.s... growing in bogs or trays of water can tend to make bigger tubers, the food growers in hawaii grow the colocasias that way.. i've had ears for 40 years, i grow in both pots and in the ground..
Love me some AJ! You guys are fun to watch together. Coming at ya from the homeland of Nirvana. That Ceropegia ampliata was real interesting. I like nepenthes and thought that was a cool pitcher. Psych! Cool trailer I’ll have to look into. Guys, it’s not goats milk, New Zealand lambs milk 100% with a touch of Manuka honey. Three drops per leaf dropped through the holes of the top one. Look forward to the plant fair vid. Good luck with sales!
Great video, I laughed so hard about “this day and age”…my husband came in and wanted to know what was so funny…he laughed too! Always a spirited video with AJ, looking forward to seeing your video of the plant fair, your videos are the highlight of the week!
I call the p***s plant, a parachute plant. So many beautiful ones you've shown and I had to screenshot them so I can order and add to my collection 🪴🌱🌿🌵🏵
OMG Those planes!!! When we lived in Stanmore the windows would literally shake some days. We'd play this game with our then 3 year old, we'd all stretch up and tickle the plane's tummy, it felt like they were that low.
CAN'T WAAAAAAAAIT for the fair!!!!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Yes White Wizard I bought from AJ last week was much bigger than when I last saw them. She's AMAZING!! Excellent healthy plants and NO PESTS yaaaaaaay
Alas! We've got the foliage focus, but Yates dynamic lifter is not available in the USA😭 searched every fertilizer with similar ingredients but NPK not same. If you do go back and get your colocasia, ask AJ if there's a diy mix that would equal 3 pellets of dynamic lifter please 🥺 looking forward to seeing you branch outdoors as well as hanging plants 😻
Hi JAN, REALLY FUNNY Y'ALL.. my plants 🪴 are my babies...Everytime...I move my friends hate me..I gave my friends 3 truck loads of plants last year..broke my heart... Your plants are so lush and big..BEAUTIFUL.. enjoy the show..wish I could go..take lots of pixs/video...I will see KING&COUNTRY concert in Biloxi ,miss...tom..♡ Ty for reply back..keep up the wonderful adventures with 🪴 🌿..hello to Brad. Just got in..later..
I had so Much fun watching the two of you.. looking forward to the next. Wish was in Sydney this weekend just to see you guys in person. Plants would be an added bonus😂😂😂
AJ - Your skeleton key has transformed so much since I visited in February….. hopefully I can be on one of those planes soon coming to visit again with empty suitcases as you keep adding more divine plants 😊
So nice to have met you in person at the fair! You are as friendly and bubbly in person. Shame AJ wasn't there. Look forward to your vid on the fair. Man it was wildly busy, and a very different crowd from past years.
This was as usual the best one yet 😂😂😂😂😂 loved the collection… I m Indian so have to watch the video for the fair..…. Can’t wait…. All the best😊.. I LOVE AJ 😎…. She is the best … (I think that was ‘Rhipsalis Baccifera’ the one with sweet white flowers)….. I m waiting for more 😊
This was super funny to watch, please keep going on doing videos together :D Also: This Philo brandtianum is soooo beautiful 😍I definitely need one! I just built my first moss poles only by wire mesh and the moss dries out soooo fast. I think I will rebuild them with a plastic back like those grow verticals AJ is using. At first I thought this poles might look ugly as I was thinking of building my poles but in the examples from the video you basically can't see the pole itself so it's no problem I guess.
@@sydneyplantguy omg no way... cant wait to see it, have been watching both channels and loving both... my favourite thing form the last one was the blooper at the end where you asked their film crew if they did bloopers because your good at them..... Gave me a good giggle.
That Jose 😭😭😭 I want one so bad. Lost mine in a freeze a few years back and the prices have skyrocketed!! LOVED the climber section. I’d set up a hammock right there in the middle of the aisle 😄🌿
Hi. If you are in Australia jose is now sold in bunnings. I bought one 3 weeks ago it was labeled Imbe vareigated x domesticum. It sold very quick though. I got mine in bunnings Bethania, Queensland for only 14.98 with 4 leaves.
@@jeferlynagullana6095 I’m not in Australia unfortunately 😭 I haven’t been able to find them in any big box stores here in the US yet. I wish!! Thank you though! 🤗🌿
I enjoy all your videos and your joint videos with AJ are so fun. A question: do people in Australia grow palms much as house plants? I’m in a slightly below ground apartment in Chicago but still can grow several palms and they give such a tropical vibe indoors, although generally I get only one new leaf a year.
It's obvious you two are having so much fun together 😍 what is that plant right of the philodendron skeleton key? A variegated philodendron Brasil? 🤔 Or melanochrysum?
Like your Madre, I also enjoy your videos just a tad more when AJ turns it into a duo situation. What a bonus to get behind the scenes clips too. I also live in a city where planes slow down the video production process. Thank you guys for being so patient by waiting for the sound to wane so we can hear all the jokes, excitement, plant care & description more clearly.
@@sydneyplantguy To be clear, all your solo videos are wonderful too. I do greatly value your no-nonsense approach to plant care and I plan to up my plant game by getting by a ordering the exact vertical moss poles that you and AJ use in your collections. As you say the proof is in the pudding.
I have noticed that lot of poles are filled with coco /bark. I understand that in greenhouse like this, there is way higher moisture than in apartments and you can easily take hose and water everything but do you water those poles regullary to keep it moist ? Its not very water absorbent and watering bark means all water just goes straight to cache pot. Not sure if having coco /bark as "moss pole" is viable for indoors.
White knights are becoming a big thing here in Florida because they're finally being put out by Costa farms for $20. I bought one about 3 months beforehand for $150 😑 I have one of each, the knight, princess, and the white wizard. I've found they don't like quite as much direct light as my other plants, even the parts that don't have any white
Great video as always! Please be careful with the canna lilies with Brad. I know he doesn't really bother with your plants but the pollen is so dangerous for kitties if he brushed against them and got it on his fur.
Great to see you two doing a video again! Good luck with the plant show AJ! Joepii - ive just picked up a couple of small tissue culture ones - acquired taste but i love the weird shape of them! Im wondering if the grow big like atabapoense or compact like a billy tho
