Am loving all the tropical looks. They feel relaxed and holiday-ish, which is the look I have gone for in my own home now in retirement.

At 73 I want my place to reflect what makes me happy. My most carefree days were living on a AF base in Puerto Rico overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. I was there from 1956-59. I was in grades 6-9. Carefree. I had my bike which allowed me to go from the beach , horse stables, pool overlooking the ocean, movie night under the stars and long vistas of our tropical setting. I think my next decor will be tropical. Even if it is living in a tiny house in Tenn. or in assisted a living apartment studio. Why not. When you retire you can choose to set your own course. I am not likely get to cruise nor travel back to Key West but can surely live as though I am living in the tropics.
