Hurricane Beryl broke all-time records as the earliest cat 5 hurricane in the Atlantic Ocean. Beryl is the earliest ever cat 1 hurricane to hit the Texas Coast. Beryl hit Nacogdoches knocking down trees as a tropical storm, and\ triggering many tornadoes.
I did get heavy rains and wind guests but no tropical winds. After Beryl left Nacogdoches I lost electric power for 14 hours. There were many homes in Nacogdoches County and East Texas a day later.
