These people do not know what they are talking about , I live South of Houston, Tx. and we do not need the rain right now , the Brazos River has been in flood stage or just below flood stage for 5 straight weeks , so a foot of rain would be very bad actually , never believe that the News Media actually knows what they are talking about !!!!!!

I believe they are talking about the area south and west of San Antonio, which the map shows getting most rain. And yes, we need it.

I right where the mouth of the Brazos dumps into the Gulf. You are correct! We do NOT need anymore rain at the moment. I was thinking the same when they were saying, silver lining and breaking the rain deficit. They have no idea what they are saying.

@@stischer47 Yes, y'all need it..however the rain doesn't jump us on the coast dealing with the flow of water that has already dumped on the areas above us in the Brazos River areas. It has to come to us first on the coast and it will park right on top of us. The news reporters need to really learn their geography and learn Texas before they make such comments.
