I'm from NJ & I like to stay at Tropicana also! 😊 I was just there in August 2023 & stayed at the South Tower (closest to the Boardwalk) then when I went back on Labor Day weekend I stayed on the 64th floor of Havana Tower.... I really enjoyed the Great View I had from the Havana Tower! I love to have a nice view whenever I'm down by the shore & the Ocean! (makes the trip even better) 🌊 🏖
Nice video! I went to the tropicana last week. Gilchrist was good. We stayed in the south tower studio in a studio suite. It was nice and clean. I could hear neighbors having a regular conversation in the next room so I am sure they heard me snoring too. If you want a decent take out breakfast you can go to the lower level in the south tower to the Corner Market near the south tower check-in. The only bad thing could say about my trip was that I was asked 3 times for money by panhandlers in casino and 2 nearby the outside exit. 2 while playing slots and 1 in the bathroom. For this reason alone, I won't be back for a while. I would stay on the northern end of the boardwalk or by the marina area with better security.
What a WONDERFUL, well made video! Love how your reviews are SO comprehensive with information and all the fantastic footage! I've been to the Tropicana in AC, but never stayed there. This video has convinced me to book one of my next trips there for this Havana One Bedroom Suite, instead of staying at a different property. So thank you for that. Also, I have never explored the Chelsea Tower. So I now want to check out that Gastropub for Dinner and the Gilchrist for breakfast! Both look like great options!
@@JH-tg3qg After watching this video, I decided to stay at Trop for myself. Actually wasn't as nice as I thought it would be. I got a Havana One Bedroom Suite and it was okay, but not great. the HVAC system was still using very OLD/outdated 1990s technology and did not cool the room adequately. Also, there was some kind of electrical problem in the bathroom where everything connected to that circuit was shorting out. And the worst part was checking in and out of this hotel. They don't have enough staff working the front desk and the line was ridiculous. Waited over 45 minutes! So I'd rather stay at Harrahs in AC for a Caesars property. But Ocean, Borgata, and Hard Rock are still the best out of all of them.

Great video Jennifer! I stay at the Trop all the time some rooms are dated and some games also but as far as food options I think it's the best, I love Chickie Petes and Broadway Burger
@@JenniferSparksSavoy Hi Jennifer, We normally have stayed at the Havana Tower but the older I get the longer the walk seems so in a few weeks we will be staying at the North Tower so I'll let you know how it went

Top of the Trop was on the highest floor before the new towers...breath taken views with good eats. The Top also had some live entertanment, I know it was still there about 5 or so years ago when I was there
Great video! The Trop is the only place I stay in AC. Unfortunately haven't been since 2019. Hopefully will get back there next year. If you are playing poker or a table game usually the floor boss can print out a fresh players card as well.
I was there at Tropicana in March for my birthday with my boyfriend and we had so much fun , great dinning and cocktails , stores We didn’t even stay much in the room because there’s so much to do and we loved it . We went back for 3 days last Monday to Wednesday and again we had a blast !!
I actually had a easier time getting comp rooms at hard rock and Ballys. Didn’t depend much at all. Caesars gives me comp rooms now but visit them a lot in AC and Vegas

Thank you so much Paul :) the ocean is the newest if that is a concern. I haven’t had a bad bed in AC. I’m currently in Misquamicut beach in RI on a pull out couch wishing I was in a AC bed! Lol can’t loose with any of those resorts. 😊👍

@@mastinanagel380 I had 2 nights here. First night I upgraded to a jr suite in the south tower but didn’t like it too much so I moved to a regular room in the north tower to see what it is like here. I actually like this room better 😂 I have also stayed at a corner suite in Havana which I loved. Havana has the best views 🤩

@@JenniferSparksSavoy We were gonna stay at Aria since I have comp nights however from one day to the next one of the night we would have to pay so we switched and are staying at Park MGM. Which I like being smoke free and right next to T-Mobile Arena plus we have reservations at Bavettes , definitely looking forward to eating there. Yes we will be heading next door to the CVS for a case of water to make sure we have plenty of water lol.
Staying at Trop in August through a Caesar's junket, what tower would you suggest to stay in, don't mind the walk but want the cleanest, most spacious, would want an upgrade to what they would probably offer with the comp flight and room, would be willing to pay for it.
I personally like the Havana tower the best. Seems like a lot of people do except for those who don’t care for the walk. That’s cool are they flying you in???
@@JenniferSparksSavoyYes 3 nights, free airfare out of Toronto, would rather stay at Caesar's but only choice is Trop or Harrah's. Caesar's offers these monthly but they fill up quick.
Thank you 😊 how many nights? I just this week stayed at Caesar’s, Borgata and ocean they are all in def parts of Atlantic City. It’s a pain to move but with it if you really want to get a great AC experience. Tropicana is a great hotel in my opinion. Not everyone loves it tho. Some even hate it. But if you like great dining options it’s a must see :) it’s just not in the best location for exploring.
@@JenniferSparksSavoy maybe just one or two nights. i’ve stayed at trop before when i ran the ac half marathon and i did really like the food options and the theme. the room was just a bit dated. also do you have an opinion on the golden nugget? i’m gonna check now to see if you have a video on it!
@@jonisnotfun938 the golden nugget is the only casino in town that gives me a hard time filming so I don’t go there too much. I have 1 video I believe and 1 I’m working on. Borgata is much nicer in my opinion. Ocean is stunning as well. Hard rock is fun and exciting if you are a music lover. You need to stay at least 3 nights lol 😊
I just discovered Gilchrist for the very 1st time in August 2023! lol Since the Seaside Cafe closed, I called ahead of time & asked where to go for breakfast? I was told Gilchrist has good breakfast & they DO!!! 🍽 🍳 🥞
I was actually disappointed they never reopened the "Seaside Cafe", that was right next to the Fiesta Buffet.... I always enjoyed going there for breakfast whenever I stayed overnight!
They have a PF Chang's restaurant there. Never ate there. The first PF Chang's I saw was in Las Vegas next to the then Hard Rock Hotel. Good luck. Never stayed at the Tropicana. My late wife wanted to go there and eat, she had a complimentary breakfast for two based on an incident that occurred there before. My late wife and I liked to stay at the Trump Taj. Right now, like to take a bus down for a day. The bus goes to the Tropicana. I am subscribed. Even hit the like button. They have a Carmine's there too. Is that the same people that own Carmine's in Manhattan? I think there is a Hash House a go go in Las Vegas too. You can use your players card at table games too. You have good videos.

@@JenniferSparksSavoy Am finding out about a bus that goes to Atlantic City. I think it goes to Caesars' properties. That is good. Tropicana is now part of Caesars too. My favorite hotel in Reno has merged into Caesars too. In fact there are three hotels there and they all became part of Caesars. Do enjoy your video's. So in the near future may be going to Atlantic City again.
