Hey! Sorry to anyone who's been waiting for the next part of one of my longer videos. This is just a little something to get back into the swing of editing. Life kinda got in the way for a good while but hopefully I'll be uploading more soon. I'm already back working on that Critical Role mega-vid!
Oh I’ve known for a long time that the only reason they’re constantly bullying him is because he cannot handle power. He’s a fucking mad man. Ever watched his solo streams from Final Fantasy 14? It was... something. Trott has to be kept down.
I like to think of Hat Films as a single entity which houses a certain level of hectic energy which is usually spread between the three of them but when there’s only one of them alone- that sole member contains all the crazy within them

This was absolutely delightful, superb editing - in case anyone had any doubt, the full stream was honestly just more of this exact brand of insanity for two and a half hours. Highly recommended. Was grinning throughout.
Strippin left on his own accord to do his own thing, nothing to do with Kim. Kim got flak from the RU-vid comments on gmod videos because her voice was very loud and high-pitched compared to the others, and people got annoyed. This took a toll on her mental health over time and she left the main channel accordingly. She now does her own streams and appears on Duncan's channel every now and then.
@@AlistairAi Personally, I think Trott is more chaotic good than anything. Sure, he’s a bit of a prick, but most of what he does (e.g. screaming AAAAANAAAAL in the streets until he loses his voice, having himself vac packed, pouring red wine into his eyes, eating dirt/manure) is basically making himself look like an idiot as a way to make others laugh. I think Smith, on the other hand, is closer to chaotic neutral… maybe? Does what he wants, says what he wants, most of the time, doesn’t really care if it’s the norm or not. Will spit eggs on cake on occasion. And Ross is a bit of a wildcard. Perhaps mostly lawful good/neutral but then he’ll occasionally come completely out of left field with a line like “would you still have my back if I said there was nothing wrong with golliwogs?”
Does anyone else think that Trott thrives quite well without the rest of the Hat Boiks? Like don’t get me wrong I love them all together but he just seems to thrive well without them
Yeah I think he generally seems the most comfortable being on his own, like someone on Reddit mentioned he's a good balance of chaotic good/neutral which fits in well with other dynamics. And the few solo streams he's done have been entertaining, whereas I recall Ross saying he would never want to do one cause he wouldn't have people to bounce off, which is perfectly understandable
The dynamic of Trott being on the receiving end of all the jokes started when Smith was being overly chaotic years ago and they just continued. It's deliberate they talked about the dynamic before in old trials videos. They don't act like that off camera. When Trott is alone he can be the chaotic one.
alan and rok are actually grand wizards who have been tasked with prevent trott from realising his true chaotic enegies, they dampen hsi abilities so that the world may live, ross is the elder wizard and takes the brunt of the energy, hence he's going grey, smiffy is the fledgling who has been assigned the task against his wishes, hence the salt. trorr is unaware of his apocalyptic inner chaos but we the viewers get to see just a little of it shine through when hornby and smitt aren't actively keeping him in check
