when I pressed enter on Hard Disk Boot Priority option it just took me to an option (Bootable add-in Cards) 😞😞

Your a life saver ! Exept that I had to put my Sata HDD first and my primaty partition second. But now it works!

In my case, the on-board network card was broken, and I had to disable it from BIOS to be able to pass over the error and install the operating system. I hope this example will help many of those who cannot get pass over "Verifying DMI Pool" message.

After verfiying pool data it says "error loading operating system".. Did a fresh install of Windows and didn't work.. HDD is on the primary IDE as master, jumpers set properly..

Thanks dude, the bios settings were OK. I had to remove the sata cables for the HDD and re-attach back to the motherboard and the HDD ... It worked. Thank gawd.

My stops at verifying DMI pool data.. update success. Then hangs. Reboot press delete (this is my bios key) says prepare to enter setup.. then hangs again. I change my bios battery also since it has been 6 yrs since I got my computer and never changed it. What shall I do next. I think I have tried everything.

What if I am not see nvidia on that screen.. I have a nvidia graphics card though but it didn’t show up there I only had 2 of them and then the boot thing you had as well, I just switched the 2 I had there and saved it and it is booting up now but slower than I’m used to, now it says my computer ran into an issue and has to restart with a sad face and it just restarted .. it’s past the Original problem and going to boot up by the graphics seem bad.. I’m assuming I have to take it apart and plug in the graphics cards and blow out some of the dust.. it’s probably going to just do the same thing again.. if it does I’ll press f10 and switch them back where they were for now then I will shut it off and play with the plugs and clean it a bit .. I’ll update when I figure it out .. it goes to the window then does the same so yea I’ll be back

I had it stuck and honestly simply took out the usb connected to it and worked like a charm. :)

Didn’t work for me… I’m not sure what boot priority I should put first as i don’t know which one I use 🤣 I tried putting all of them first and nothing happened :(

I had old hdd and new ssd. Everything was working ok. I removed hdd from computer. Ssd is set as boot priority. And im stuck on dmi pool now. Dunno if i need to physically change my wire entries into motherboard or something

Hello, my pc is stuck on the dmi pool but the it continues to get stuck on 'boot from Cd/DVD' Then it continues to say 'DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER' My problem is sometime this happens and sometimes it start perfectly!

I've got the same problem but i've got also a title "YPJHR is compressed Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart" i click this buttons then it restarts but it shows again. PLS help me if you can!! (sorry for my language but i'm not english)

Mine would reach the dmi message then go blank, my fix was to switch the hhd sata cable into a new sata outlet on the motherboard.

mine 2 hdd opening wont normally. either, keyboard any running doesnt. already everything properly correct place to plugged.

Computer was working fine when I got it, (custom built from friend), and I restarted it for some reason. It's been restarted before and it's been fine. Then, this message popped up. Tried editing BIOS settings, even went in the computer and unplugged/replugged in almost everything you could. Nothing happens. Tips?

when I try to the bios my desktop get frozen on a black screen I'm runing windows 10

this happened to me after attempting a BIOS update on an old Acer Aspire T180. the "write protect" BIOS setting was on, which... you would assume would prevent anything from happening, but apparently it only partially flashed. Now maybe if I had restored the backup BIOS file before rebooting, it would have been fine... but of course my first thought was to reboot, flip the setting/jumper and try again... I ended up buying a replacement chip off eBay for $10.50 (last one in stock of 234, top US seller too!). I hope it comes in before free Windows 10 expires.. yeah this old beast can actually run it, according to someone. Worth a try, just to secure the license even and roll back to Win 7.

My problem is, that I can only access the bios menu, when my HDD is unplugged and when i'm in the menu, my keyboard doesnt work. I also cant boot from a windows CD. Can anyone help me?

cant seem to fix this problem in my pc, i tried unpluging my physical cables and reattaching them into the ports, i try opening my bios menue but menue dont show up, its say f12 but i press, hold, and etc dont work. kinda getting antsy now! if anyone know other methode pls help me.

Thanks! This happened to me after I added another HD to a system that already SSD for boot, and 2 other storage drives. My newly added drive was set at the top. Simply did what you did, moved SSD/Primary to top F10 save and restart and wala!

Jumpers on HD?! What year is this!?! Havnt seen those for 15 years. Im getting this error after adding a SSD, first boot is still set to Hard Disc Windows is on. When I remove the SSD it boots normally... weird stuff!

Muitas vezes o problema esta de fato em alguma transmissão de dados que não se identifica tão fácil e temos que inicializar pelo drive de CD com o boot windows, ou mesmo instalação nova pelo USB quando se permite essa opção

Please help me. I think I might be able to solve my problem by going into the BIOS configuration menu, but it freezes halfway through. I go into the menu, and it freezes in 5 seconds tops. Any solutions for that?

My BIOS was ok (I guess, there were only two elements in there and I think they were in the right order), but then DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER kept popping up. I haven't installed anything new lately or touched the cables or anything, I had turned off the computer two hours before and it was working ok! I have no boot disk either :( what can I do? anyway, thank you, I learned something at least

When the DMI pool message came up I just hit f4... seemed to fix my problem

Thanks man that's exactly what was going on with my,computer x) haha and just a hint the music you play you should either make it a background noise instead of cutting it off every time you talk or just have it as intro and outro and not play in the middle of the video

I only have 1 hard drive and I still have this problem....

this worked thank you John, with 'del' pressed went into the bios and found the removable disk was first and the hard disk was second.... something had switched them round? Anyway I changed both because i guess one needed to become second, otherwise both would have been first and that would also be conflicting I guess... thanks very much

i plug out all external hard drivers :) now it works

proces to fix that problem is very easy get out bios battery and wait 10 minits and back and problem is fixed
