I am not sure if anyone told you this yet. But when cleaning your flies by hitting the water you want to do it behind you or where you aren’t fish. Because it will spoke the fish

I’m loving these fly fishing vids if you ever get a chance you need to get up to do some Lake Michigan salmon or trout fishing especially on the fly during the salmon run
