✏️ Are you a returning player to Trove? Did you quit playing after the Trove years ago? Well hopefully this Trove tutorial / guide for players returning in 2022 will help you out! I won't go into too much detail because I've got more in-depth guides for each topic covered today, but I'll explain key features of the biggest updates Trove has had over the past few years including the Removal of Shadow Tower in favor of Delves, U10 difficulty in the Geode Surface biome, Crystal gear and how the Light stat works, Cosmic Gems, Leviathan Bosses, Paragon Levels, Crystal Rings and Hidden Ring Effects, the new Bard and Solarion classes, Bomber Royale Season 3 (which introduces one of the best mounts in Trove), Shadow Hunter rework along with tons of other class buffs, the new Sundered Uplands biome along with U11 difficulty and Crystal Gems, new 5 star dungeons (how to get crystal 4 outside of the delves) and more!

Last time i played was between chloromancer and dino tamers release and i was only playing once every few months so I was extra confused on what geodes where. Just to let everyone know, you can get crystal empowered gems at U-8 and U-9 in the Shores of the Everdark. You will have to use a class gem on the large dungeon boxes. This chance of getting the crystal gem is very slim but possible. I luckily got one for my shadow hunter at only 10000 PR. But expect to go through many class gems!

Great guide as always. I'm going to be returning after a couple of years away and this has helped a bunch. im maybe a returning player, i loved this game playing it in 2020 to 2021, it was really fun and i think its was my first mmo i dedicated time to, also i had many friends playing it so it was really fun, and while gamigo messed up, it still seems fun to play, might get some friends to play it again.

The only thing I don't get is how everything that has to do with Geode, is related to Trove's lore. Idk if I missed some videos (that is if they released anything), or if they just decided that Geode is now the new way forward. These enemies don't look anything like the shadow creatures, and if anything they're brighter. 0.0
