Is it worth to live a life of pain, suffering, stress and hardships sacrificing your happiness, peace and inner desires so that your name will remain and you will be remembered through the ages? Some would say why would anyone sacrifice their conscious precious life for something that they will never be able to experience or reap the benefits of. But others would argue that that's a small price to pay for your name to be remembered and gain immortality.
Such everlasting glory is impossible to attain in today's world. Everything you do right now, thousands of others are doing too. Some of them are bound to be better than you.
Yeah he was the best warrior but like the slave girl said killing was his only talent he was not allowed to develop others he's told to end the war so other men can go home to their wives he has to train for battle or be in battle almost always so he has no wife to go home to himself or family to care for. How is that "best" good at his job but still the kings slave never got to retire either.

Achillies was offered the perfect life, albiet a forgettable one where once your grandchildren die, your name will be lost. When it cuts to him on the ship leaving for Troy, he has long since made his choice.

Just watched the film again days ago. There’s a reason why kids live the same age as these movies are manlier than kids nowadays. So much testosterone, so many warriors in these movies.
I'm absolutely speechless with what I just witnessed there was no way in my mind that you could make a better Achilles video than that last one and then you came out with this. I've been meaning to comment on this for a while now but kept forgetting after watching it. This without a doubt the most comprehensive and detailed video of him out there your selection of clips and quotes were perfect and really showcased his awesome character. I loved everything about this from the music to the pacing everything is flawless and that ending was brilliant .This by far my favourite video of yours bud it is such an amazing masterpiece for one of the best war movies of all time 💙
I was 11 yrs old, when this came out, and I went to the cinema to see it. Since then, dozens of time I have seen it until now. Such a fascinating movie. Great job and editing.

hector fought for his country and loved ones. Achilles only fought for himself. Hector is the Hero in the Homer Epos. He is the Man of honour who fought for something bigger then himself
