I love how HBO didn't shut off the game's cast, but involved them in the project as well. That's the sort of respect and reverence that only comes from directors and writers who actually have passion for what they're working on.

Not only is it the passion from Neil Druckmann it's Neil's respect for what Troy and everyone else put into to the game. Neil respects Troy's passion for it. This is as much everyone's baby as much as it was Druckmann's for writing it. That's how legendary, once in a lifetime things like The Last of Us happen is when everyone involved has that level of passion for it.

I love troy baker one of my favourite voice actors, but I can’t see him the same way after what he said about Nolan North. He said a hypocritical negative comment about how they gave Nolan North a cameo in the Uncharted movie, and how that’s a bad thing, and here is doing a cameo. He hasn’t apologized or anything. Cant get past that hypocritical comment about his own friend.

You know... the point of the story is that Joel IS a MONSTER. His care for Ellie turns into abuse. Ellie carries his legacy of hate throughout her life, until she doesn't. Joel isn't a good guy.

It's sometimes a trip to see that actors are often such well educated and eloquent people. I feel like many assume they just get into acting at a young age based on their looks, and then stop any attempts to educate themselves outside of their trade once they get any success. This guy seems like he's intelligent enough to get hired anywhere.

Troy baker is amazing... Dude has ALREADY been the lead hero or villain in so many of the top franchises and games... Booker Dewitt in Bioshock....Joel in last of us...Talion shadow of Mordor...Pagan Min in Far Cry 4....the Joker in batman Arkham orgins, Delsin Rowe in infamous second son.... Ocelot in MGS 5.....and has already played Two Face in Arkham city and is set to in Arkham knight.... All of this in like the span of 2-3 years... crazy

Baker really is a giving actor. The humility he shoes towards Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey isn't surprising at all. That being said, for anyone who's wondering why he hasn't done more television or film, maybe he doesn't want to. Some actors prefer film, others prefer the stage. His wheelhouse (so far) is videogames. He's earned the kind of reputation that he can do whatever he wants.

The show has barely had any infected in the last 3 episodes, and they have been AMAZING. In the end, you realize that the premise of the whole "end of the world" thing is not the main appeal of the game/show. It's the characters and their relationships. Absolutely top notch performances from everyone involved.

Great job on the show Troy! Very subtle, and quiet performance. You could feel hints of internal conflict and tragedy to this character, even thou he's the villains henchman and it's a smaller role. I hope we will see Troy in more things.

Such a high quality offering could not have come to life, if not for the outstanding source material. Naughty Dog, we love you. It's worth noting though that it manages to amplify the human drama and action of the games, and I was hooked from start to finish. Thank you for setting a new lofty standard for game adaptations. It all comes together so beautifully. Congratulations to everyone involved, either in front or behind the camera
