One of the great moments in Watford FC history.
Live on Sky Sports, with the game in injury-time and a place in the Championship Play-Off Final on the line, Anthony Knockeart went down inside the box and referee Michael Oliver gave Leicester City a penalty.
If he scored, Watford would miss out on a trip to Wembley, but former Arsenal goalkeeper Manuel Almunia had other ideas. Not only did he save the first penalty, but he blocked the follow-up too. Marco Cassetti cleared to set Ikechi Anya down the wing. He found Fernando Forestieri, who's cross was headed across goal by Jonathan Hogg to Troy Deeney who smashed past Kasper Schmeichel to send Watford and manager Gianfranco Zola through to Wembley to face Crystal Palace.
Amazing scenes of celebration for the Hornets and their fans at Vicarage Road. Heartbreak for Leicester, who had future England internationals Danny Drinkwater (now Chelsea), Jamie Vardy and Harry Kane (on loan from Tottenham Hotspur) on the bench that day. The Foxes would add Riyad Mahrez (now Manchester City) the following season and win promotion to the Premier League & later sign N’Golo Kante (now Chelsea) before their fairy-tale journey to become Premier League champions under Claudio Ranieri was achieved in 2016.

The most fantastic and loveliest moment I've ever seen. It's a scene out of a film. Pure perfection. Thank you Deeney and Watford for providing the world with this. I get goosebumps everytime I see this.

don’t understand how anyone could be so thick as to truly hold affiliation so high in standard that they can’t enjoy such a pure moment of football, the sport we all love in the first place. You can still be passionate for a club but damn this is beautiful.

Unbelievable! We were at Vicarage that wonderful day. And we have never seen anything quite like that. Brilliant double save by the injured Almunia. Fantastic first touch by Anya. Exquisite cross by Forestieri to the far post Superb run from and knock back by Hogg Clinical cool finish from Deeney. It's the perfect counter attack. End of.

If you find the neutral Sky Sports broadcast, the announcer there is almost as nuts, but the two shots that Almunia saves sound like they're absolutely thudding against him.

I have just discovered this clip through it turning up in my Facebook feed. I’m in Australia so I’m more into Rugby league and AFL but I can’t stop watching this footage. It’s bloody remarkable. I found myself cheering and I don’t know any of the players or the teams from a block of cheese. The goalkeeper is a wizard and the skills from the players to get it downfield and then to score are just superb. To have been at this game must have been bloody EPIC. I’m jumping on the wonder bus, 1st stop Watford!!!

Whoever was in the right back position - that touch and run were absolutely superb, then Foristieri's cross, was awesome, then the awareness of the header, then the beastly finish from Deeney. It was such a wicked team goal.

Watch lower leagues if you want real football again. for example you can watch 3.Bundesliga and support Dynamo Dresden who’s fighting against all the things you mentioned while still having packed stadiums in D3. Some parts of the sport definitely have changed, but corporations buy corporate teams and those can only be a small number. The game is alive and well Sir.

Anytime the Spurs lose is a Uber sweet moment but , agreed, even Spurs losses don't compare to this moment. Spurs cheated their way to several NBA Championships as Tim Duncan should not have been allowed to play in the NBA-- only the WNBA.
