I feel like this is a huge experiment. They are getting into fantasy entirely on their own separate from games workshop and have greater creativity. Alongside a very popular mythic setting
I really hope that the historical mode won't just be abandoned by CA because the mythos mode will be the most popular. It would be such a shame as it is definitely the mode i am the most interested in
Thanks for the new heads up. I like the look of the Historical. I find the hero scripts are lame or get in the way of a good campaign, I hope the Historical mode is tamed down. Not sure about Mythos yet, I heard it had the same hero scripts and campaign goal, I have to look into gameplay first.
Its very nice now i play myth behind the myth…..🎉🎉 i finished 2 times historical mode with Agamemnon and odeseus . If i finish now with rhesus maybe i will try mythos mode with some other faction maybe amazons or troy faction 🎉🎉
Most of us don't know anything about Truth behind the Myth mode. We didn't play the game at launch. edit: and you covered my point 2 minutes later in the video lol nice.
$90 for a smaller total war title and the dlc's, and that's on sale after being out for 12 months! Still not sure about getting it. It's in the setting I have always wanted, and has that AoM feel! But I feel as though CA is turning into a money hungry company when they say Saga titles will be smaller, cheaper games they can experiment with! Clearly not the case!
I think initially more people will play historical becuase its free and mythological is paid DLC, but I think long term it will be Mythos. I for one want to at least try out historical.
eh. Base Troy army vs army was great, with the heroes feeling a bit boring and out of place (except for the archer hero, direct enfilade fire with the archer hero was 👌 and felt actually earned). Replacing the one single model unit with a bodyguard unit is pretty great to me.
