If you start with Mechanical Resonance and work your way through the Tesla catalog, you'll hear Troy doing creative things on the drums in a rock music setting that NOBODY else is doing. He's so creative with the hi-hat, ride, and his grooves and fills. More people need to study Troy's drumming, take influence from his ideas, and make them their own. Bravo, Troy. You've always been one of my favorite drummers and a prime influence in my playing.

Thanks Troy first for recognizing our Lord (the intelligent designer of all talent) and Savior. I’ve listened to your music since my high school years when Tesla first broke out and enjoyed it ever since and attended 3 concerts. Thanks for bringing Nikolai some well deserved recognition also. After seeing this interview I can tell you’re someone that I would like (because of your humility). Keep rockin bro - hope to see you in heaven praising our lord for all eternity.

I been Listening to Tesla, since I was 15(1985) teaching about Nikola(1997), (mostly to my kids and there friends), and Then about the Tesla Vehicle(2006), and enjoying it all these years, Troy-- me and my wife so appreciate your time with us in Hampton Beach, on that walkway, you are the absolute, most genuine person, about all this, We have met. Yes you called me out, I was(and still am a-LIFELONG) drummer, and you said”usually only drummers recognize me”, I hope those reading this realize, we matter, and you showed that your entire life! Rock on friend !

One of the best interviews with one of the very best drummers as a feature, interviewed by one of the best!!! Troy epitomizes the very definition of a Hard Rock Drummer. There's no one like him... I heard a lot of familiar names and places in this interview (gave some props to Fremont woohoo!!). Dom... I've come to watch your videos not only for the information the interviewee gives, but your to also see your performance as an interviewer. I am binge watching your videos now! :) Thank you both

I never saw Tesla and I think I've seen all the 80's bands back in the day. Biggest rock regret of my life. Briefly met Todd at NAMM 2008 and he was as courteous as one can be. I think what separates him - and the late Pat Torpey - from the rest of the rock drummers from his era is that he actually grooves hard. His R&B influences shine throughout all his performances. Wonderful drummer.

I have sometimes had regrets to learn, very late, so much from these intimate interviews. Also, i find them inwardly exciting! V Calutta has so far been my personal favorite. I remember doing some gigs with and for the narrator and his family and friends. Quite a unique spirit, this narrator'*****'. I have this friend..... still going....so unaffected.....still plays with Parsons, Turtles, etc. He comes to visit me....WITH food, lol. 'Manny-kybds and then some in spirit'. Another '*****'. Maybe add a seventh star. Thanks Mr. Dom. Pc ~j
