USC Safety Isaiah Pola-Mao

USC Safety Isaiah Pola-Mao is the nephew of legend Troy Polamalu. IPM is following in the footsteps of his Hall of Fame uncle while playing the same position at the same school. There are definitely similar traits in playing styles, as Pola-Mao is a really physical hitter and has shown a knack for causing turnovers. It’s unfair to expect Isaiah to become the player his uncle was, but it isn’t out of the realm of possibility that he can develop into a starter at the next level. It’s also possible that he could switch positions. He’s tall & can add muscle to move to linebacker. His 40 time at his Pro Day has been posted from as low as the 4.20 range to 4.50.
