Just came back from TRS and completely agree. The spa and property are fantastic. Staff and butler service were incredible. However the food was so disappointing. Wish they’d focus on quality rather than quantity of food options.
I went here in 2021 and although the resort was gorgeous, I was very disappointed in the food quality. Other than the steakhouse, all of the food was underwhelming
I haven't been to the TRS, but I've been to a different resort in Costa Mujeres, transport was an add on. However, I fully recommend doing it, cause it's pretty much standard price. I usually book my packages through Expedia, and they have the TRS on their system, once you finish the booking of resort and airfare, you have the option to add the car.
You are responsible for your own transport. I recommend booking one ahead of time with a travel agent. The taxi drivers will swarm you as soon as you exit the airport terminal.
