I don't see here a solution in the long term. However, people are still dying in Gaza while we're writing here our comments. It's horrible. At the end of the day, we're all selfish. Otherwise, also here in Western Europe, people wouldn't go skiing over christmas but rather protesting on the streets in order to prevent that more human beings are going to lose their lifes. But it seems to be it doesn't matter to most of us as long as we can live our none-sense life.

Until the point where the war is reaching them as well and people who they care for will die as well.
And exactly what would mass protests achieve... Protesting is the least efficient means to get your point across, unless it's persistent and uncomfortable, but even then it doesn't really affect those in power. Political leaders have no fears, their future is secured regardless and they don't get held accountable... Protests only really works, if it forces those in power to reconsider their choices, but this is not the case in today's world. Let's say if those in power got voted out, today, they would just lean back on a position elsewhere in a global organization, lobby group or private organization, alternatively they might just retire and live on some tropical island resort. I'm not advocating for violence here, but a protest which leads to no real consequences for the thing we protest against will lead us nowhere... heck it's more likely it will only lead to pain and hardships for the people involved in the protest. It might sound extremely black pilled, but that is the situation we are up against... these politicians can live a life separated from us common folk, which mean we are not an issue or an inconvenience to them. Especially when it comes to this specific question, there simply ain't alternatives either since pretty much any opposition party says nothing or the same thing as the ruling party.
