I’d like to make a suggestion. Be very careful lifting your hood. I recommend lifting it from the front using the indention in the hood that is meant as a handle. I mention this because I’ve seen the same thing happen on both my dad’s FLD and my FLD. Some of them have cables and springs to hold the hood from flipping all the way forward, and some have nylon straps. My dad has the cable mechanism. My brother opened the hood the way you did at the beginning of the video. That cable mechanism broke, the hood flipped all the way forward and broke it at the bottom. It resulted in him having to buy a new hood. Not too long ago, I went to raise mine, and when I got to the point, where the straps should’ve held it, there was nothing. Unbeknownst to me, there was a spot that I could not see when inspecting them during a pre-trip where they had both rotted. I am very glad that I was standing at the front of the hood and able to control it. If not, I would’ve had to buy a new hood also. Right now, those hoods are not that easy to find. Besides that, it would be an unnecessary expense. I hit a deer a few years back and it sprung my hood a little bit. I have to lift up on one of the fenders. I free the hood up on both sides, and then go to the front to pull the hood open. that way, what happened to my dad’s hood will not happen with mine. I would hate to see you have to replace the hood on that truck. Great videos, and I enjoy the music. You always have good music in your videos, it was cool to hear you and your wife on a track together. Completely awesome.

Hi bro whatcha up to hope all is well sending up prayers 4 healing and unspoken and 4 everyone and bless great healthy peaceful safe journeys travels happy hauling and happy day everyday in name of the name of the Creator God/ Yahweh and Yeshua/ Jesus and the Holy Ghost/ Spirit Amen much honor and respect keep walking tall always and keep praying and keep pushing forward one step at a time u will get there also remember with that spray foam u were talking about maybe a cheaper option however remember that if u have to do any wiring wrk u will have cut said foam out to get to wires however a lot of van life builds ppl use that sound deading sticky blk like rubber looking material on one side and the other side silver aluminum foil and u use a hard plastic roller to get air bubbles out and leave the aluminum foil on it that's 4 the metal rumbles and tin sounds u get and then they use their choice of installation then they use the siding this is what I suggest it maybe lil more money however in the long run its lot better 4 maintenance too also yall can use aroma red cedar ship lap 4 ur bk walls bottom and upper bunks and then whatever 4 sides and such but u may have to make petition skeleton framing 4 the cedar however u may not have too if u use screws just long enough to go in the already holes 4 the upholstery but us the wood skeleton it may make easier to use the cedar however that's just few ideas u could watch a few van life build videos to get few ideas too any who make sure u stay hydrated and warm and watch the weather bama has freeze and winter storm warnings out when going through bama and other states keep eye on the weather just make sure u stay warm I would get u slpn bag and plenty of blankets and none perishable foods ie can food and or others 4 at least 2wks in ur truck too maybe prepackaged freeze dried foods ie cmpn survival food and water cus there maybe times interstates r shut dwn and u get in place stuck on hwys well u know what I mean lol like i80 is shut dwn now in places or was due to snow and just trying to look out 4 u and keep praying and cool beat bro like ur song also no worries bro ur truck will get there like the kw9 don't rush it step by step u will get there I personally like ur truck and u can do what u want with it any who think I wrote a book already I will let u get'er done petal to the metal hammer dwn and keep'em on the pavement /roads and keep'em rollin also catch u on the flippy flops and smile 🕊🦅🎚💪🙂👍👍 🚌🌅🌌⛺🌄🏞🏖
