Love the Steve Wallis reference! Swamp cooler to ward off the swamp a$$... Oh yeah I need one of . My corner of SC is fully in the H3 (Hot Hazy Humid) time of year! We had something similar years ago, it worked with a 2 liter bottle. We would freeze a couple of 2/3 full bottles, then let them pretty much melt halfway... Like I said it was early 2000s tech and not the best.
There’s a guy on YT named Brian that credits you for some of his truck setup, he has a huge ac unit that cools amazingly, like from 100 down to low 70’s. It sits in his back seat and passes through to the cab, with a air intake and drain system, I think it’s called a Mach 2 or something.
So yep lol extra clothes and step 2 guy is like you....one of my favorites. The bird are sweet in the bachground. Rock on ! I like some of that music myself
Watching these is always peaceful/adventurous. I appreciate as do others for the time you take to make these videos happen thank you. Safe Camping Safe Travels👊
From one Nebraskan to another… I absolutely love your videos, your inspiring me to try and get a setup like this and go outside more often! Keep up the great work!
A swamp cooler in high humidity? Nah dude! I live in the So Cal desert. Believe it or not, we have high humidity here. (Farm land, Salton Sea, Colorado River, Highline Canal) I hate it here! I'm originally from Nor Cal! I wish our temp here was 99°! We've been in triple digits. Next week? 118
I first read your comment before he made dinner. I was like: wth is this person talking about? It made sense after. So Dave doesn't just look cool, he actually is.
Nice video Quady, thanks for using that swamp cooler, I have something similar and i'm going to start using it. Glad you got a new camera, and I always like the flow of your videos very relaxing. Thanks for taking us along 😍🚙👍
I have hybred mini van rv. 2 things that keep cool in extreme heat. 1 Auto start. 2 roof top storage and dollar panels as a awning heat buffer to keep sun if van directly. Good stuff man.
I like the step2 comment. Another great Canadian creator is Sandwich Dad. Gotta love them blue clouds amongst the dark ones. Keep these videos coming.👍🇨🇦
Nothing better in heat and humidity than when a breeze kicks up:) Perfect dinner on a hot night. I was impressed with the swamp cooler. Question, extreme heat or cold, which do you find worse for camping?
Earliest I’ve been on your uploads. Love the videos bro! Keep them coming. Appreciate your grind 👊🏽🙏🏽 can’t wait for winter to see some winter camping videos!
We've been in a heat advisory here in MO for a couple days (temp of 100 w/heat index of 111!), and it's not over until tomorrow night. I camp in my suv a lot, but during the summer I don't get to go at all because of the heat.
Wow it is really hot 🥵 I give you credit I would have been in air conditioning at least you caught some breeze to cool off thank you again for taking us on this journey this place looks so peaceful and calm a great place to just relax the mini fan looks nice
Sandwich looks on point! We hit 110 here in Oklahoma today. Friday and Saturday supposed to be worse.. Starting to feel like I need some sort of A/C or swamp cooler for my Tahoe while sleeping
Be careful with the little swamp cooler units like Artic Chill. I bought the Artic Chill XL for my Tahoe and the moisture it puts out will mess with your head liner. It made the liner on my moon roof come of and has damaged other parts of the head liner. Had to repair that. So watch out. The little cooler also doesn't work well in extreme heat and humidity...even if you add ice it's not good. I'm in the Arizona desert with heat and humidity...so I've tried.
As someone who was raised in south alabama.we use to hate seeing it rain in the morning.we new that just meant was going to be ready hot after.great video, keep ,seen shout out to Steve walls.
Those coolers are for dry climates to give the sensation of mist. If there's any humidity, they don't do anything. They definitely don't change the temperature.
I watched on the weather channel the night Mike was there. It was coming from South Dakota and formed a huge bow echo.. it looked like a huge nasty storm, all red and yellow with some green..from South Dakota to Nebraska where Mike was..
Hey Crazy you need one of those little tent light/bug zapper!!! I bought one and we do a lot of outdoor cooking. My son in law put his by our prepared food and NO BUGS!!!! Perfect for your “camper”
