What happened??? I'm new here... so this is my first time seeing any of her content. EDITED: I'm gathering a little more information from the comments and her commentary in the video, that she had 2 dogs and one has passed away... I don't know how/why, but seeing as she said she got Blue at 8weeks old Christmas of 2016, that he should have been too young for passing away, as he was only 8 years old, so something must have happened. I can tell that this must have been quite recent because she and her girl dog Taz are still adjusting.
It seems your little one being scarred of everything has been through a lot of trauma but I’m sure with great care, love, comfort and understanding from you she will overcome her obstacles ❤
Taz is having a pretty tough time with this period of her life. She's also dealing with the loss of Blue, not only missing him but not having a clue why he's gone and if the same fate awaits her at some point. And all that is on top of the usual adjustments to a new environment and people. She'll be great eventually, sometimes it takes many months for a dog to feel totally comfortable in their new life. You're doing fine with her and all will be good.
Sorry about Blue. I just watched your dedication video 😢 Your new pup is so sweet and deserves all the love and dedication you gave Blue. But she might not be cut out for traveling. It hurts her feelings when you compare her to Blue. She can feel that. 😢Sorry for being blunt. Utmost respect for you caring for an animal. It’s a lot of work and responsibility. She is a rez dog, she was wandering on her own doing whatever she wanted outdoors roaming the land. She was just used to that but that was not safe for her.
Sometimes the vastness of the water and huge openness can be daunting for a dog who hasn’t experienced the beach before. Her little play means she was starting to feel relaxed. She’ll get there in the long. Keep supporting her along the way.. ❤

Your puppy is great. Don't forget to acknowledge that she had a life before you. That's part of her anxiety with all the changes. And there's something to be said when we have a dog during our mourning period. Be patient and gentle with her. She has a potential to be a fantastic dog.
"It's like chucking a purse" LOL... Also if you feel it aligns look into Thunder Jackets for anxious dogs, it essentially "hugs" them and regulates their anxiousness. It helped one of my dogs. Tax is such a beautiful soul, you're blessed

Honestly I don’t think the Cyber truck is ugly, it’s just different and has some really cool features. I didn’t know it had camping modes and dog mode. That’s extra cool! But we do love Poe! Maybe it’ll have AC some day lol Tazzy in the sand! 😍

remember that Taz needs more than dry food no matter how good the dry food is said to be. i ALWAYS make a chicken salad or salmon/fish salad for my dogs. just a simple dog salad is like ---> canned chicken or fish (plain in water), organic cooked carrots (i eat a lot of them), organic lentils and black and brown organic rice with veggies du jour (i am a lacto-vegetarian). my dogs also share a lot of fruit such as watermelon, pears, banana and so on. they need REAL human grade food every day, not just dry kibble. i also add things like organic flax meal and organic coconut oil and salmon oil. as a result my rescued Chiweenie generally does not shed seasonally and has a very nice coat, shiny and thick. i think that fresh food is the key to having a healthy dog. Fresh Pet and the Farmer's Dog is good but you can do the same thing for less money and not have to do it every day. wet food is good for weight gain but with a small dog you have to watch out for too much weight gain so i only do that dog salad about twice a week and do a good kibble mix the next week to keep his weight down. 💋
I lost my dog 5 days ago. Aggressive mast cell tumors.with histamines...he lived 2 mo ths lo ger than what I was told he would live. I know your grief and the strength it takes to not break down ever freaking second of the day. My baby was mine before he was born as his parents were my babies also. I am forever changed like you. 🐕❤ forever in our hearts. Enjoy the rental! The truck is nicer for sure😉😁
I have a cat with mast cell cancer. She is covered in small tumors but several did become huge. The vet surgically removed the larger ones as well as her spleen. No sign of internal tumors so far, just her skin. She is very frail now, eats very little and sleeps a lot. I know the end is around the corner. But mast cell cancer is more common in dogs. My deepest sympathy for your loss.🙏❤️
Probably because it was, it takes a lot of time and reversing learned behaviors, especially those that stem from abuse. And still some never arrive at that. 😥
Taz is amazing. We truly never know what kind of trauma rescue dogs have been through. I feel so bad for them. I had one rescue dog that wpuld eat through walls in my apartment due to seperation anxiety. Hang in there and she will calm down.

i guess it comes down to how much you value your time and how much an hour of your time is worth in $. To fill a ford raptor would cost about $150-160 in los angeles. and if you fill up every 3-4 days then you're spending at minimum, $1,100 to $1,600 a month on gas. is 8-10 hours of your time worth way more than $1,100 - $1,600? for most people, from a strictly opportunity cost POV, the answer to that is no. you're saving at least 800-900 bucks a month on gas money. just my 2 cents anyways
I saw a cybertruck recently for the first time on my street.i had know idea what it was. I was impressed. This is a very different vehicle. So nice to see another of your camping videos and this vehicle. Stay well, and be safe.

The Aztec still functioned adequately as a vehicle. It was just ugly. The Cyberstuck will fall apart if you slam the door and stalls out in a 4 inch deep puddle.
@@BossRedRanger I actually owned an Aztek from 2002 to 2017. My father passed away 6 months after purchasing it, so I took over his payments. If you can look pass the looks of the car, it was actually quite nice. Came with all the accessories for camping mode, drove nice, got decent mileage for a 6 cylinder. Got 150,000 miles out of it until I blew the head gasket.
@@BossRedRangerlol I think it is ugly and wouldn’t buy it either but saying it it would fall apart from slamming the door on a car that can stop a 9mm bullet it pretty wild. Also teslas have a track record for being fully submerged in water and not stalling unlike a ICE vehicle. Terrible overland vehicle tho, can’t make it far into the sticks due to the terrible range

One of my dogs is also very anxious in new places and vehicles and one of the best things for him was a car kennel, he's crate trained so adding one to the car was an easy transition and gives him a den to feel safe and cozy in. Plus the added bonus is you can just move them into whatever vehicle you're in. Might work for taz!
My dog is a rez dog that we got when he was 13 weeks old. He trembles when he is in the car, goes to new places and meets new people. We do not allow people to approach him, he has to approach them.

Just got back from exploring Lake Superior and Lake Michigan for the first time. Can confirm Michigan may have the best beaches. And that's from a lifelong Floridian.
The dog needs a buddy dog to help her adjust. 2 dogs take care of each other. Also, put your hand on her when driving, the contact will calm her and she will learn to trust.
She's with her dog 24/7. She legit lives in a car with her dog. It's not like she's like most dog owners that leaves the dog alone for like 12 hrs a day. The animal will adjust like humans. It takes time and training.

Now i know what was coming towards me a few weeks ago - a cyber truck. I told everybody i saw a Back To The Future car, because I thought it came from a local car show they were having. LOL - Its like Crocs - not the prettiest to look at, but comfy none the less. Poor Taz, hope she gets accustomed soon. Safe travels.
Don't know if this helps, but my dog had anxiety. We use Bach Rescue Remedy for Pets to help her, it worked amazing you just put it in their water. We stopped after a few months and now is fine no more anxiety. Veterinarian-recommended and natural.
@@Stubby1031I don't remember but instructions are on the bottle. she was a spoodle so around 8kg, but this stuff is even used on cat to horses and other animals..my other dog died and she was so stressed out and had anxiety soo bad for months, the vet recommended this stuff. It changed the game and we felt helpless unable to ease her anxiety, we noticed a difference in a week it's a miracle worker.
