The barrel is an old wood burning heater with stove pipe fitting used for heating. And i'm with everyone else.....that'll be enough of carrying her across rivers. One slip and it is a long was to get help and rescue to you both. I know your a gentleman and that is great in the right setting. This is a hike. Hike it!!

That barrel you were looking at is a heat exchanger for a wood stove. We still use that set up here in the Ozarks... :)

This place is magical. The creeks and waterfalls were amazing. I could sit for hours and just melt into a place like that. Wow those drone shots are awesome, I’m in the remote controls 1/10 scale trucks I have two 1979 Ford broncos and a 1967 bronco 1/10 scale I’ve seen a lot of nice lines to crawl there where that stream is at after the big waterfall both sides that hill With some rocks here and there that is RC heaven yeah

Cody, here's a back saving tip for you: When cooking outside, instead of unhooking that big propane bottle & carrying it to the stove, get a small propane cylinder and a refill kit. The small bottle will last quite a while and when it is empty, just refill it from the tank. Works well in my camper. Unless of course, you need to carry that big tank to build up your muscles to carry Kellie! LOL

9:42. Awesome drone footage. Nice thing about drones. They can go places people can't. Imagine what that will look like in April. A sudden explosion of new, bright green foliage. Moving water may be the most beautiful thing on earth. Someone said something like when you look at a river you're always seeing it for the first time. Water existed long before life on this planet. Water made life possible and all life remains dependent upon water.

Cody Your a mountain goat at times Terrific drone shots. The falls are beautiful. A excellent start to 2023. Watching the waterfalls & the music is perfect. So relaxing. After the day I’ve had could watch for hours. Should do a vlog of all the waterfalls you have have visited. Just caption name of each one. The greenbrier (smilax rotundifolia) that prickly vine is actually eatable. During the spring and summer when it's growing, gather the new young tender part. Cook like asparagus or eat raw. It tastes a little bit like raw green beans. (Leaves and all. Just don't get the tuff stuff. If it doesn't break when you pick it it's too old.) Moon shine Fall is my vote ☺️

Loved the flowing creek and waterfalls. Waterfall heaven is nice, I like that! I went to the smokey mountains for a month last year and did nothing but stay in the creeks and chase waterfalls, it was awesome. So glad y'all have had the new set up with all this crazy weather lately. Be Blessed!

A good place to go see is Lost Eden cave, in Arkansas, my husband and I spent 2 weeks there and you can go spelunking in a cave that goes 250 ft. into the cave and there was a waterfall coming out of the ceiling of the cave. Free camping from Dec, 31 to end of Feb.. we were there and had our water jugs freeze overnight. The road to it has a 45 degree pitch so if roads are icy don't go.

I live in Hot Springs At. I deer hunt in the Ouachita’s I I have heard those 55 gallon drums with the tube in the side is an old bear feeder. Which might be true, because there are bears in them their woods.

I wonder how deep the pool is at the bottom of “Moonshine Falls”. It looked like it would be a great place to cool off in hotter weather. That last, larger fall had an even larger pool, though. Perhaps, nice swimming? I wonder what’s there to see on the bottom? Y’all have made me really, REALLY want to visit the Oauchita’s. You’ve shown us so many beautiful locations. But, before I visit, where can I find my own Cody to help me through the waters? This girl really wants to know!!!😂😅😊 I’ve been waiting and watching for more cookbooks and really, really hope I can get one from the next batch. I’m so happy you’ve had such success with it. As someone mention earlier I also like seeing y'all traveling in Arkansas. I like watching your other travels but we live in N.E. Arkansas in Trumann just outside Jonesboro so the Arkansas videos are our favorite. We may try to come to Little Rock when you have the book signing there. I've been following you guys way before you went full time but I really like the truck camper best.
