In this episode, I take my truck across the largest body of freshwater in the United States, Lake Superior. I am dropped off on the largest of the Apostle islands coming in at over 13 miles long. My truck stay on Madeline Island is not as easy as I'd hoped, from breaking ice, to cooking dinner in the woods this is a truck camping experience I’ll remember forever.

Mav! I’m a disabled FDNY firefighter and USAF Rescue vet. I’ve been watching mostly your camping vblogs. You are rocking it! Keep being you, keep your chin high, and live life as best you can; your doing what many only wish. I do lots of camping, but I have a 36’ fiver, a Dually Ram 3500.... I’m an old man now :-)! But we do lots of boondocking, off grid, and travel lots. Keep the videos flowing, and don’t listen to the negative opinions! You sir are inspirational.

Tommy thank you for your service brother to our nation and your community, I too am a disabled ems worker. Drunk with a 5th wheel rear ended our rig when I was slowing down to clear an intersection going code. Smashed us, flipped and rolled us into a pole and left us for dead. Long story short I’m starting to get my life back after many depressed years and 4 classes away from finishing my bachelors then jumping into a masters of nursing degree with nurse practitioners license. Then I want to travel the US and Canada as a nurse and see our beautiful country. I’m an old man too 43 lol. Stay safe out there and keep living the good life my brother. He closed out his video with a challenge to get outside. But he was speaking to kids who have homework and getting out even if you have to go with your sibling. I thought that was great but when I read the comments, we are all old or much older than that. So many are experiencing and living through Mav a life we never knew we wanted. Thanks for giving us that honest content whether young or old. It gives everyone a renewed excitement for the simple things: the outdoors, alone time, cooking and so on. Thanks again Mav!!!

Watching Mav’s channel has been entertaining for me as I recently just discovered his channel. I’m not much of a camp or outdoorsy person but watching Mav followed his dream and do what he love most is admirable. People who has negative comments or gives nasty one should get a life and not criticize Mav for living his dream. During pandemic, people should learn to enjoy life as if it’s their last moment in earth. Not many people could do what Mav does. He’s happy and content.

When we lived in North Pole, Alaska the Canadian Goose coat was a great coat. We lived in Minnesota prior to Alaska and can totally see the necessity, especially with the winter activities you do. I think people just can't understand that if they have never experienced it. We loved Madeline Island when we visited several years ago. Such a beautiful place.

Canada Goose jackets are amazing for those who truly use it for what it’s made for. I have a Citadel Canada Goose and it really does make a world of difference as a creator that spends a lot of time outside. Awesome stuff man!

Just keep motivating yourself. When you reflect on the negativity that comes your way toss it to the side and run it over with your truck. You take time out your life to share it with us and we thank you for it. When I drove around in my pick-up truck I would play Eddie Kendricks Keep on truckin'. Love this. First time on the ice road to the island was an experience. Snow shoeing with the deer and then hiking to the ice caves at Meyers Beach. But rather prefer the warmer months for camping in the Apostles. Thank you for taking us along on your adventures.
