Truck Camping Padre Island

It was a bit windy but otherwise beautiful at Padre Island over spring break 2024. We set the Chevy Silverado HD to 4WD high, lowered the tire pressure and boogied to MP 12 before we lost daylight. No big deal though - we were secluded. Just the way we like it.

grew up around there. reminded of what i loved about Padre. Its beautiful, yes. It can also be brutal. Everything offered. Prepare correctly and enjoy! Great video!

I’ve lived in the Houston are for 39 years, I’ve visited all over Texas but have never made it to Padre/Corpus! It’s on my road trip bucket list!❤

Use the hard heads(saltwater catfish) for cut bait. Grew up in CC and fished the beach a million times. You can catch some big redfish and blk tip sharks with it.

Have you ever thought of down sizing to a Toyota Tundra or Chevy Trail Boss? We just went from a Chevy 2500 Texas edition w/ Duramax pkg, to a 2024 Toyota Tundra Twin Turbo V6 iFoce Max TRD Pro…we LOVE it. Put 1k miles on here in one weekend and did it fast!
