The wool blanket is good if you are first on the scene of a vehicular accident to put under a victim. Also a small tarp. I have used a huge golf umbrella to shade or keep off the rain and snow over a victim.
Under the seat has room for both battery operated hazard lights (round discs that have a magnetic plate), regular flares, a power pack for jumping batteries.
I think a jumper box and a small compressor for airing up tires is great to throw behind or under your seat. I have a combination one that doesn't take up much space and gives me some peace of mind. At worst case it also acts as a backup battery bank in a pinch. Also recently picked up a set of "electronic road flares" which are rechargeable led pucks that you can use for signaling if you ever have car troubles or need to catch someone's attention. Same thing I have them thrown behind my seat where I don't access as often, but I know right where they are if I need them.
Nice set up man. Look forward to the next video. I was stoked my 40oz Yeti fit in the cup holder of my ‘08 4Runner when I bought it. Like the floor mats too.
I have ever owned a full size truck? If so do you regret going to mid size truck. I have wanted a Tacoma for a long time but I have been on the fence on giving up my full size truck. Any info you can share will be appreciated.
This is the first truck I have owned. I drove an 01 mustang before this. I will say however that the Tacoma is pretty small overall. Not a ton of bed space and even less rear passenger space. If you have a family it's definitely gonna be a squeeze. I have a fiance and a dog and we often fully pack the truck when going on longer trips. This is my daily driver and I love that it doesn't feel like I'm driving around a massive tank, but if you do a lot of towing, hauling, or have a bigger family, you will likely feel this truck is too small. If I had the money, I would definitely buy a full size pickup as well, but for now I'm happy with my Tacoma. Hope that helps!
Are you going to get a seat cover for the dog? I have a Rhodesian Ridgeback and she sheds hair like crazy. I got a seat cover that can hang from the front seat head rests, once she was trained to not hop to the front seat, I now have it laying over items in the back seat footwells. The color matched the interior of my vehicle and keeps out of sight items stored there. @@SixEightOutdoors
