Can you push the knee in if the side of the bottom is more closed? Normally, in the turtle position, the bottom is advised to close the side gap by hiding the elbow inside the thigh. Will the attacker still get his knee in to open the opponent up?

I forget which podcast or video I watched but Eddie bravo said that’s why it’s called that because everything is controlled from that position and there’s all these different options for submissions the same way there’s different options for this camera angle or that camera angle ect.
